Hello all ... And sorry for "Here we go again..." , but it seems
that way as we sort ourselves thru the latest MS Windows release.

The Doomsdayers ... heard already from them ... GO LINUX!

When I started, it was DOS ver5.0 then upwards we went, some
programs ahving to drop by the wayside, as programs, designed
to run under Windows, well admit it they are better.

I remember going to Win95---then 98...then XP...I still have XP
and I remember my wife's new machine was VISTA...which had
everyone crying ...BUT...thru all this I got my old DOS 1986
programs to work...even vista.

Sooner or later, I will try Win7. Looks good from those machines
I have tinkered about on...and my only problem sometimes seems to
be if I want to run this or that program or Internet I need
and updated program that is compatible with the Internet and the
latest WIN whatever .... Before dropping my dialup ISP
I got this all the time...but the WIN95 machine and WIN98 all
connected.

I am reading some of the comments, and replys. Also advice.
The questions are ok...answers too, and ...well can we leave
the bickering to ..let it go... and keep the conversation
fresh and useful. Life is too short.
