I couldn't answer that, since I haven't recently looked into free web
editors. It's always been my experience, though, that most web editors
don't quite do the job I want. Therefore I don't use them.

I'm making a living designing and building web sites (if you can call it
living, HI) and I've always found myself eventually resorting to editing
'raw' HTML code with a flat ASCII editor. The design package that got me
the farthest into the directions I want to go is MacroMedia Dreamweaver,
which contains everything one would ever need and then some, _and_ lets
you edit raw code whenever you want to. However it's a very commercial,
and very expensive, piece of software, so unless you choose to see it as a
moneymaking investment, you might not want to shell out that much money.
