I never did quite understand Nostradamus so I gave up to it. In the news
recently was something about, the Turks, if they join the expanded EU,
want adultery to be made a crime, so you'd better not adulterate anything
in case it's retroactive :-( The suggested punishment wasn't mentioned. I
suppose it's a public beating. I did get a few SPs from other EU
states,expressing disquiet about further EU expansion. I for one, was
quite happy with the 15. I'm quite happy with the Eastern Europeans but I
have gone from a devout Eurofederalist who voated yes in the 1975
referendum to join the EEC to someone who is slowly swinging toward UKIP.
I'm exactly the same as you in my beliefs,Andy. I don't want anybody
ramming theirs down my throat. I am quite happy in a secular state. I'm in
favour of the Queen, her heirs and successors, as they have you say when
you swear that oath in
the armed forces. I won't bwe around in 27 years so it's all academic.
Just ask them to start the war a bit later. Give me time to kick the
bicket,buy the farm or whatever.
