----------------------------------------------------------

this is a G4KCS - BULL - :

It has been detected that some GUM-FLAPPING has been going on regarding
                               ------------
whether 137khz is LF or VLF

I had noticed some bulls on UK system addressed to LF - altho mine were
sent to VLF - to determine which is correct, i have compared what is
used on the continent (turn south at dover) regarding appropriate useage.

checking into ON6AR bbs i listed the bulls below:

(2) ON6AR BBS (H for help) >
There were no bulls addressed to LF.

Bearing in mind there are more radio hams on the contient and more radio
clubs, the majority win. Further more - looking at my diy radio book
- the number of terminoligy words applied to radio come mostly from
the continent, ohm, tesler, ampre and even marconi to name just a few.

Therefore i shall ignore british gum-flappers, whingers and whiners
and go with the continent, and continue to use VLF.

you may now fall asleep
