Very productive day 19/12/07
Worked on SIX: 0807 WAST to 1742 WAST:
VK4KDD, VK5AKM, VK4CP, VK3KAQ, VK5NY, VK4AN, VK2SK, VK5FD, VK3ARK,
VK4ARN, VK5BC, VK2ARA, VK2BPL, VK2BTS, VK3GK, VK3AS, VK3WN, VK5BM, VK4ACE,
VK1VP, VK3YNB, VK3AUU/M, VK1BG, VK4LE, VK2XQ, VK2BZE, VK2FWB/M, VK5RO,
VK2ZIO, VK2IPK, VK5VGC (52.11), VK2AMS, VK5ZLR, VK5APA, VK2BZE, VK2BXT,
VK5NY, VK5DK/M, VK2ADB, VK5NY, VK5ACY, VK7ZIF.
AT 1930 logged VK2BHO calling CQ on CW but the phone rang and I missed
him.2238 WAST beacon VK5RBV S2.
Worked on TWO (unusual conditions as it was sporadic E, a rare occurrence)
1235 WAST VK2ZT (Australian record for intra state working)
VK6WG worked VK2DAG at same time. A few km shorter than my contact..
Worked VK5NY, VK5DK/M, heard VK5EMJ but lost when the band folded.
This was the first sporadic E propagation I have experienced in 37 years
at this location. VK1 heard also but not worked.
Cheers,
Bob VK6BE.
