Usually every November 11th., I post a POPPY @WW with the
title that befits where I am which is Remembrance Day in CANADA.
This year, with a really bad cough, and side effects that had me
bedridden most of the day, I was really unable to complete the
posting to be posted .... No use me doing it NOW the day after,
but this morning a lot hit home, as I missed my time and my
place at the ceremony , paying my respects.
Old uniforms were cleaned and pressed for this occassion.
More people were showing up, and thru wind,rain,sleat and whatever
WX....well Maria ...said NO. despite me saying what these
men endured in the frontlines in WW1, and also too WW2.
With the Old Uniforms being put away for another year, also
comes the realization that across CANADA it is predicted
26,000 vets will reduce our ranks in Remembrance Day 2010.
I am sorry, that I never got to post my POPPY @WW, on the
appropriate day, and I feel bad about it, but not as bad
as NOT being there, sick or not sick....because sick or
not they were THERE!
