Atomic Veterans weakness

All atomic Veterans have a weakness , if you are sensitive to about most everything then you got the weakness , your never satisfied you have
all different sorts of abnormalities , your eyes go and come in there focus some days are clear and refreshed and some days are fogy-and ear-table to read or be in the sun light your bones are deforms your hunch backed and have a crooked spine after 10 tw
o 15 years after the exposure of radium or radiation contaminant that
got into your kidneys or stomach threw the mouth , that cause chronic sinus problems that come and go these are the symptoms after about 3 to 5 years , that slowly go away over the years as you age and the immunity system gets stronger glory behold the
ones with clean amenity system of the body that get sent into
a war zone that has been contaminated with radium from tank shells ,bombs, rockets an any other ,TNT thats used in manufacturing of weapons that
get into the dirt and dust and the first wind that comes alone you breath it , it
unless you were born into that environment of radiation contaminants and the immune is
defense starts from birth on the environment then you become use to it and can tolerate it so much better than a GI solder getting put in that environment that is use to a clean one to live in sure mess em up
Now you take me for instant I was sent out to Enewetak Atoll for a one year tour of duty to help nurse made four helicopters in a Arial support for the army and construction workers , being a good air-force Instrument Mechanic with good rating
i was suppose to make sure no more Helicopter fell and killed top scientist of the world again , well the cooled white carl sand of Enewetak that had been killed with radiation i walked on for 12 months this would be unheard of nowadays , by the way Enewe
tak was completely covered with Cement to prevent father exposure to humans and all other but this was several years after my tour of duty.
What got to me and all the other was the Swimming in the Lagoon with all those contaminated matter that were changed in there reproductive system just like the Army MP police dogs had to be removed from the island. there was about thirty
six of us air-force personal in the 24th.Helron Squadron (Tack support) we made a lot of chopper flight each day keeping people and supplies moved from one place to the other , Operation Hardtak 1&2 was quite a spectacular March, april,May ,June
,July ,aug.. episode of Barge explosion of nuke bombs and we were allow to swim in the areas but could not eat fruit or fish we got . I can remember we had a criscraft boat that got beached in a storm the LST's use to take us different
islands , never got around the cement tanker anchored in the middle of the Lagoon
it was off limit it was still "hot" but twelve months on that rock at 22 years old changed my hole life , i been with nothing but abnormalities ever since a entirely different person than i use to be and my wife says that a lot.
That affected me more that the others and i found out why as they say i only
had one kidney and the good one had limited filters so i had to watch myself
about the percentage it could work to clean my blood apparently that contaminated area and the work i maintained more contaminants than others because of the kidneys lack of filtering under certain conditions of over working and tiredness.
I suffered for so many years off and on job to job trying to cope with a limited
filtering of body wast that i gave it up at a early age of 56, doing better ever since i quit working but still suffer with abnormality days off and on.

I can imagine how all the troops that went to Iraq and breathed that sand storm dust will be in 5 to 10 years
I hope some of the Sergeant General thoughts will take him to thrash it out with
the war military leaders about where and what a American GI will get into by
going into a war zone as to the effects on the human Body regardless of how critical it might be.

I wish i had not been a "Ginny Pig" because of the Cold War but we
GI's did not give it any thought.
It's took me years to try and convince the Veterans administration that i was
messed up , it seams to me if a GI's early out with just three months left till
his discharge because of his health not letting him preform his duty deserves
some merit consideration of medical discharge recognition on how he or she lives but they gave me none.
