Hi Bob and DXers,
You're not telling me anything my spies haven't already, your cool and
humid conditions are a mite unusual but there are years like that. We had
a few like that up here and the dearth of ducting conditions had me a bit
frustrated but last summer finally opened up well even if a bit late. The
same happened with 6M but seldom are the two related, purely
coincidental. It's good to see that once in a while the radio gods let
you out of your Faraday cage for a little excersise in the yard. (;->)
For what it's worth, now that I have set up at my new QTH it's full speed
ahead with my 2M stacked halo project. Sometime between now and summer I
hope to have horizontal polarization so I can take full advantage of what
I hope will be good coastal propagation. It will be nice to shove FM
aside during an opening and concentrate my efforts on SSB.
Now do tell me, is Wally's Hill anywhere near Walton Mountain? (;->)
