INET for persons operating from isolated packet areas is essential! There
is very little point in anyone calling me RF at all unless they are using
the ARISS to digi. If a digi is successful it will go by sat to Goonhilly
and be fed into the *pipe* then and only then will i rx your call. Random
calling is pointless on UIV32. So if you are not registered?

When mobile -9 i now tend to use path:cq v aprs,trace7-6 for no other
reason but that it gets me out and logged by FINDU.COM or APRS.FI this
then ridicules my use of three or more digi's without a thort as to my
isolation. Crazy tho it may seem but the world of UIV32 has died North of
Watford Gap!

If you are not prepared to donate to Roger's (G4IDE)(SK) cancer fund then
you will not get a registration number.

If i use my base TS2k i tune to 145.825Mhz simplex and at 5w get into
ARISS by using the simple path :cq v ariss, myqra, mycall if lucky i will
then get a mention on ISS and of course i can pick up local mobiles
withing 6 miles.

Scarboro is isolated by three lumps:Staxton/Cloughton/Irton. But if you
are on INET please have a go i am 24/7 for a chat. Or you can leave a
message which is also automatically ack'd:)
