Derek,
Message Alert and Digi Alert are two different things. I gather you want
an alert to a messeage.
On main UI-View window, click "Mesages", then on message window that
opened, click mouse on "Options", put mouse on "New Message Alert" and
click on "Every Line". The "Bring to Foreground" is a good one to have
on, also.
