I saw the same report Andy and wondered just what the future might hold.

We amateurs have never had *any* primary status on *any* UHF band *ever*.

Why is there such an anti amateur attitude by all concerned ?

I did attempt to raise this with the RSGB man inside OFCOM but he wouldn't
even answer the question.

I also asked if the RSGB had ever made any efforts to obtain any primary 
spectrum for amateurs - blank response again. [Draw your own conclusion 
from that).

At the same time I was reading the digital dividend report, which made mention
of the possibility of amateur radio use.

We need a campaign to push for primary user status on 70cms. It's high time we
got some !
