Mars - Dome Closeup
The following dome structure from the Dome City image is one of the most
remarkable structures I have seen on Mars. There is what looks like an
enormous dome structure over a metropolis of many modern looking
structures. There are buildings of all kinds, flat sides, sharp corners and
other structures that have a styled look to them. Most of the buildings are
in good shape and look they could be recent as well as ancient. The dome
has transparent qualities, and the sides of the dome can be seen at the
bottom of the image and around the geometric perimeter of the enclosure.
The center has many building shaped structures and roads leading away to
the outer edge sections. The road, path or corridors that lead away from
the center enclosure near the top seem to go beneath the dome edge where
there are other building structures, subterranean looking entrances and
walls. On the left there is what seems to be a huge bridge or overpass
structure. Some of the walls and edges have a modern curve to them. All of
this seems to say something about the Martians spiritually. They wanted to
be seen and they have an appreciation for aesthetics. The Martian species
are a subterranean species as well as an open, visually modern society that
seems to be able to coexist with success. This gives us hope of one day
possibly having open peaceful contact.
Storm Sunspots - Highest in a 1,000 years
A new analysis shows that the Sun is more active now than it has been at
anytime in the previous 1,000 years. Scientists based at the Institute for
Astronomy in Zurich used ice cores from Greenland to construct a picture of
our star's activity in the past. They say that over the last century the
number of sunspots rose at the same time that the Earth's climate became
steadily warmer.
Spacewalk Coverage Inexplicably Pre-Empted
Jeff Challender - Director Project P.R.O.V.E writes, "On the 30th of June
2004, ISS crewmen Gennady Padalka and Mike Fincke exited ISS (International
Space Station) from the Russian built PIRS airlock module wearing Russian
made Orlan space suits with a combination of American and Russian
equipment. The mission to replace a failed circuit breaker powering the
control moment gyroscope was successful. There had been an unsuccessful
attempt to perform this space walk on 24 June, but this one had been
cancelled after only 14 minutes, due to an incorrect valve setting on
Astronaut Fincke's space suit oxygen system. This event WAS covered live.
In the days and weeks leading up to the space walk, during NASA's daily TV
coverage of ISS activities, it was announced again and again that a 6 hour
EVA (Extra-Vehicular Activity) would be broadcast live in its entirety.
Even as late as 11 AM CDT, on 30 June, this was the case. The coverage was
to begin at 3:30 PM CDT, and the EVA to start at 4:40 PM CDT, with the
opening of the airlock hatch to the vacuum of space. When 3:30 arrived,
NASA was running its `Education Hour', a program designed for grade school
students. Not a particularly high priority show. At 4 PM there was a press
conference with Cassini scientists. Later, there were a series of live
interviews with scientists associated with the Cassini probe. These were
strange affairs in which the scientists were obviously being asked
questions verbally, which the viewer could not hear. Then the scientist
would give an answer to the unheard questions. It was like being in a room
listening to someone carry on a telephone conversation. Because one could
not make sense out of half the conversation, it was valueless to the
viewer. Certainly not a reason to pre-empt the space walk.
On the NASA Select TV web page, the reason given for this sudden change,
made sometime within a 4.5-hour window, was to cover the orbital insertion
of the Cassini probe around the planet Saturn. However, this event was not
to take place until much later that night, around Midnight CDT. It was
stated that the EVA was available on an alternate satellite frequency,
available ONLY to those with non-subscription satellite dishes and the
proper sort of receiving equipment. There was no logical excuse for this
change, UNLESS one takes into account the anomalies observed during the
last space walk from ISS, broadcast live on 25 February 2004. There was
PLENTY of time for NASA to broadcast BOTH events. I personally see this as
fear on the part of NASA officials. They are afraid of what the public
might see. So they resorted to very suddenly canceling live coverage of the
space walk. Instead we were treated to some 7 hours or so of uninspiring
`filler'.
What was eventually seen of the space walk were highly edited clips, taken
apparently at random, over the next few days. Naturally, if there were any
anomalies seen, such as in the 25 February EVA, they were certainly edited
out of the version released to the public. We the people PAY for NASA's
budget!! We have a RIGHT to see what they are doing with it. These
erstwhile `public servants' are treating you and me like children. I, for

New Hampshire - Yellow Orange Red Sphere.
BOW -- It started as a yellow orange and red blinking light moving up and
down and side to side at 9:30 PM, on June 21, 2004. The lights were not
making much movement until all of the sudden it started to move up very
quickly. It then started moving east still blinking until it was almost
right over us. The shape could be made out as a sphere with blinking
rotating lights on the sides. The rate at which it moved across the sky was
incredibly fast. It soon became out of sight as it had moved right.

New York - Saucer and Flash
RICHMOND HILL - The witness was on the phone and saw a bright red light at
9:30 PM, on June 21, 2004, and thought the light was coming from outside.
He states, "The object looked round like a disk and was so bright that its
light was beaming below the craft making the object look kind of like a
jellyfish with it's body hanging below it." The bright light lasted for
about three seconds. About two minutes later I saw a clearer craft. It was
the same shape and the lights were even brighter red. Both objects seemed
far away, but very visible. The second craft kind of floated around
wobbling like it didn't know where to go and then it just disappeared very
fast. It was like one minute it was there so clearly and the next it was
gone.

NIAGARA FALLS -- Pattie Eagan writes, "We visited Niagara Falls last night
[June 26] and while we were driving back to Buffalo, approaching the Grand
Island bridge about 10:50 PM, I observed a streak of light with a tail
three inches long." It had a head like a comet, kind of square the size of
a pea, white bright. In front of this main light with the tail, was another
faint light with a very faint tail. There was the main comet-looking light
with the tail with what appeared to be two escort lights. These lights were
brighter then anything I had ever seen in the night before. I watched it
for about 45 seconds to 1 minute go across the sky. My husband was in the
Marine Corps for 24 years and has never seen anything like it. He said
there is an airbase but these were not aircraft, and they were moving too
slow for a shooting star, and way too fast and close for a comet. They were
fairly close like the height of an aircraft in our atmosphere. We knew it
was a some sort of craft because it was moving like one. It was really an

Pennsylvania - Metal Hula Hoop
POLAND - Marilyn Ruben writes, "Dad's cousin and I had a possible UFO
sighting on Wednesday, June 30 around 8:30 p.m. driving on state route 224
near the Ohio border." We were returning after a long awaited trek to the
old family homestead, so mentally, we were quite alert. I was driving and
Eileen was in the passenger seat. The weather was in the 70's, and sunny.
Evening was approaching, as I noticed about a dozen low flying puffs of
what at first appeared to be bonfire smoke blowing above the street from
south to north at a height of about 3x that of the farmhouses. Then I
realized the smoke was too white to be smoke, and decided it must be very
low wisps of clouds. That was when I noticed a solid metal rounded gray
ring floating along with the wispy clouds. I asked Eileen if she could see
the metal ring, and she indicated she could. We were both amazed and
wondered how a metal ring could float over the road without falling down
out of the sky? Ironically, Eileen who is a serious skeptic, was the first
to ask if this could be a UFO?
The ring had the appearance of a very thick metal "hula hoop" and was the
size of two or three fingertips at arm's length. I quickly asked my teenage
daughter sitting in the back seat to snap a picture of this, but she said
she could not see anything. Meanwhile, Eileen and I watched this light gray
circular object which had a distinct dark edge to it, but which was totally
transparent inside the circular area because the real clouds higher up in
the sky shone through it. The object seemed to be periodically bending in
on the side away from us, but that could have been caused by gravity
distorting the light waves giving it the appearance of bending. When it
went out of my visual range over to Eileen's side of the car, she said it
vanished into thin air.

West Virginia - UFO's Play Tag
WHEELING -- It looked like a small star, but it was moving at speeds that
were impossible at 10:43 PM, on June 19, 2004. It was all over the sky like
it was playing tag with the stars and would fade out and then comeback it
did that for about a whole minute.

Michigan - Five Oblongs
HOLLY - The witness was driving his mother-in-law home when I spied a
reflection in the very upper 1/4 of his windshield that followed them me on
June 19, 2004, just after 1 AM. I kept trying to see if it was a reflection
from a street light but even when I was not by any lights it was still
there. She looked up and forward and states, "I saw quick flashes of light
dance ahead of me, there were five that appeared to be lighted oblong
shaped clouds moving overhead just above the Holly donut shop." Gradually
their number dwindled down to four and then three. And they would go
strictly in a plain circular motion for awhile and then they would start to
dip and dive and it looked as if they were chasing each other. It looked
like they may have been playing but their movements were smooth, graceful
and beautiful to watch. The air was thick and hazy and there was not a
cloud or star in the sky. My mother-in-law saw the same as I saw. There was
a pay phone right next to my jeep so I called my husband. When I first
picked the receiver up before even placing any quarters into the slot I
heard this terrible static that was very loud. When I placed the quarters
into the slot I still heard the static. I tried 3 times and on the third
try I was able to get thru. My husband was able to make it in time to see
what his mother and I were witnessing. I had him bring my camera but the
pictures came out black with nothing in them. We watched them some more and
then they hovered together and disappeared...poof! Into thin air. If they
were not UFOs I do not know what else they could be?
Ohio - Triangle and Silver UFO
COLUMBUS -- Three lights in a triangle shape that eventually lined up and
moved farther away until we couldn't see them any more at 1:02 AM, on June
19, 2004.

NEWARK -- Driving home from work, on Route 16 going west at 4:12 PM, on
June 21, 2004, the witness noticed a strong flash behind and above an
airplane in a clear blue sky. It looked as if someone flashed a mirror. The
observer states, "When I focused on the object it looked silver (like the
sun reflecting off of highly polished chrome) of no discernable shape about
the size of 1/2 a tic-tac mint held at arm's length." I also observed and
airplane, which was about the size of an aspirin held at arms length-below
object and to the left. The object was well past the tail of the airplane,
1 1/2" thumb to forefinger held at arm's length from object to airplane.
The total observation time was 3 to 5 seconds. ((NUFORC Note: Heavens-above
website does not indicate that the flash from an Iridium satellite would
have been visible at the time indicated by the witness. PD))

Wisconsin - Maneuvering Bright Objects
ONALASKA - On June 22, 2004, a professional couple with excellent
reputations were sitting on their patio facing east when they noticed a
large bright object proceeding north at a rapid, steady pace. The object
faded, then disappeared when it reached about the center point of the
skyline. Moments later, three smaller objects were observed moving in
irregular patterns in small regions of the sky surrounding the spot where
the first object disappeared. The objects were solid and light reflective
and about the altitude commercial jets fly. These were no ordinary craft as
they changed both altitude and range in jerky and sometimes shaky motions.
They exhibited zigzag patterns, back and forth motions, rounded or circular
fire-fly like flight patterns. They changed directions at will and at an
incredible speed. They were capable of hovering, then traveling at several
thousand miles per hour and making a 180 degree turns. They flew in just
one area with a haze around them and no sound could be heard.
I brought my wife and 18 year old daughter outside and they too sat in
chairs and agreed that they saw the objects and that there was irregular,
freakish, awesome movement. We then began noticing that several bigger,
brighter objects were traveling across the sky. Two flew north together
while others flew south. Later, many smaller objects, all with jerky,
rocking, up-down, fire-fly, flew at incredibly fast speeds. My wife found
it important to rationalize these away as military aircraft defending us
from terrorists. Duration: 75 minutes.

Iowa - Craft Changes Colors
AMES - The witness writes, "My aunt and I were looking at Venus, at 9:58
PM, on June 21, 2004, when my aunt saw a red, blue, and white flashing
object appear that seemed to have come from Venus." It was conjoined with a
second object just like it and flew south in a zigzag pattern, then north
again. As I was watching my aunt saw a second object come from Venus again
that moved the same as the first. Since the trees were again blocking our
view, we moved east. The first object descended somewhere to the north of
us while the second one headed west and descended also and might have
landed. There was no vapor or jet stream from either object. The objects
made no sound. We think both objects landed either in town or the outskirts
of town. One of my aunt's friends also saw a disk shaped craft on June 16,
in Ames.
ALBIA - Two friends were camping in a tent in my backyard around 10 PM, on
June 20, 2004, looking at the stars through the air vent at the top of the
tent. They saw a red light they thought was a plane, but it faded to white,
and then bright blue. It was not one big light, but several little lights
in the shape of a triangle. We watched it dart across the sky and then
hover for a few minutes. It looked like it was rotating, and then it
appeared round. Its lights would change from red to white as it spun. After
a few minutes of hovering it shot up even higher into the sky. It hovered
there for awhile, and we went inside to go tell my mom. When we returned
the lights were gone.

Texas -Two Star-Like Objects
ROUND ROCK -- An amateur astronomer who spends a fair amount of time
watching the sky was sitting in his driveway about 4:30 AM, on June 20,
2004, when he noticed a bluish colored star like object moving rapidly
north. He assumed it was a satellite, until it began to make a swing
towards the northeast. By the time he returned with 8 x 50 binoculars, it
was gone. Roughly one minute later, a second, similar object appeared on
the same trajectory. Through binoculars, it looked like a satellite or
star. The second object also turned slowly toward the northeast, dimming
slightly. Initial brightness of both objects was zero to first magnitude.
The impression was of very fast moving objects at great altitude.

SAN ANTONIO - Two co-workers were leaving the hospital medical center at
3:45 PM, on June 22, 2004, when they saw something fairly high in the sky
that looked like a Mylar balloon. One witness was retired military and had
flown different types of aircraft. The object hovered and rotated in the
blue sky with some fluffy white clouds. Occasionally it would catch the
sun's reflection and blend in with the blue sky. We were facing south and
the wind was coming from a westerly direction. Twice this object made sharp
rapid movements to the west and stopped and continued to hover. We both
stood and watched for about ten minutes and agreed that this was no plane,

Arizona - Video Clips of Lights
AVONDALE - Brian Vike HBCC UFO Research reports, "The observer got some
video of strange moving lights taken with his Canon Elf in the wind who
states, "My girlfriend and I were witness to string of 17-20 lights. On
June 16th, I got my video camera out and got some night video. Two lights
then five, then back to two moved slowly behind the Estrella Mountains. One
burns out then reappears above where it started. We live in Avondale which
is to the west of Phoenix, 2.8 miles to the west is Goodyear airport, 18
miles north is Luke Air Force Base. Now the base already made a statement
of not dropping any flares on that day. You will hear on that news clip
that the military have been trying to fly planes near them, but the lights
go out. A plane with a flashing FAA light goes through the video between me
and the activity about 34 seconds through the tape. The video clips shown

California - Formation of Lights
BREA, ORANGE COUNTY - The witness was driving west on Imperial Highway at
10:15 PM, on June 20, 2004, when he was startled to see a formation of
lights gently angling from the southeast to the northwest, and then
northeast. There were about seven lights making up the south-lying line,
and one or two making up the north-lying line. There seemed to be one light
at the tip, that was like seeing a marquee and tip of a triangle pointing
and moving in the same direction as my car. The color of the lights was
uniform - a pinkish gold, similar to street or parking lot lights. The size
of each light was not impressive - about the size of a light from an
airplane or jet. It was the formation of these lights that was startling.
The lights moved completely uniformly, causing me to think that they formed
the perimeter of a dark triangular or arrow-shaped object in the sky. I
phoned my brother who suggested I retrace my steps. I retraced my path, but
the light formation in the sky was gone, nor could I see how any
reflections or glare could explain them.

SANTA MARIA - The witness saw to the right of the crescent moon two stars
about as bright as Venus that he knew didn't belong there. At 8:30 PM, on
June 22, 2004, he got out his 4-1/2 reflector telescope, but could not find
them so he ran to get his binoculars. He reports, "The objects did not
twinkle like stars they were just solid steady lights that had moved apart
just a little." He tried to find them with his telescope, but they were
gone by 8:40 PM, but he noticed Jupiter was visible, but the objects had
disappeared.

Canada - Circular Craft
TORONTO - Two roommates were sitting on their patio having a smoke,
enjoying the night sky at 12:50 AM, on June 23, 2004, when above they
noticed a large circular craft, glowing whitish, traveling at a great
speed, and making some incredible turns. The witness states, "I live
downtown and noticed a base-ball sized dimly glowing circular object in the
sky directly above my house. The dim white light passed directly over us,
moving in west along DuPont Avenue making a number of amazing turning
maneuvers and moving at a seemingly incredible rate. After about twelve
seconds it was on the western horizon no longer visible. This was something
I had never seen before.

Chile: UFO Flap
Llay-Llay -- Several UFOs flew and executed pirouettes before daybreak June
30 2004, some 60 kilometers northeast of Santiago, where they were
photographs by Juan Serey, 37, who was driving a pickup truck toward the
capital. The witness told La Cuarta, "It was incredible. I was driving
southward when I suddenly noticed several powerful lights moving swiftly
and hanging in the sky. It was spectacular and lasted ten minutes,"
remarked the mechanical engineer so he had enough time to whip out his Sony
Cybershot 3.2 megapixel camera, and take several photos. "The lights were
suspended some 50 meters over the mountaintop. A large light opened up and
seven or ten would gather, adopted various shapes, would rearrange
themselves and then take off at a prodigious speed, zigzagging as it went,
vanishing in a matter of seconds," said Juan.
PUNTA ARENAS,.- A strange luminous object was seen in the skies of the
capital city of Chile's 12th Region on June 29, 2004, and for five days.
Radio Polar, the local radio station, had its telephone switchboard
collapse due to the volume of calls received from the UFO witnesses. The
Office of Aeronautics reported that it lacked official records on the
strange luminous bolide, making it clear that it was neither an airplane
nor a helicopter. They did not, however, confirm that it was a UFO. Alfredo
Vera, correspondent for Radio Polar, managed to take photos of the object
that was witnessed by a large number of people who had gathered to watch.
In June 1968, two pilots of Aerolineas Argentinas and 18 passengers
witnessed a shiny red cylinder "flying saucer" over Punta Arenas.
Incredible film footage was obtained in 2003, showing 3 UFOs separating and
joining near a Chilean military base. UFO's were sighted over the cities of
Lanco and Petrohue on June 15, and over Ovalle on the 19th.

Israel - Strong Light
HAIFA -- The witness was sitting in his window at his house in Kiryat
Bialik, when he saw a flying light above Carmel Mountain at quarter after
midnight on June 20, 2004. It was something like 80 meters above the
mountain, and flew for ten seconds before it disappeared.

Australia - Fast Lights
DEVON MEADOWS, VICTORIA - The witness was out walking when a weird shaped
object hovered above his head at 1:02 AM, on June 19, 2004. He states, "It
was a bright light that took off as soon as I looked up that was going so
fast that I could only watch it fly though the sky for about three
seconds." It was very bright and changed color as it went thought the sky.

SATURN-RINGS and Strange Anomalous
N00006491.jpg was taken on July 01, 2004 and received on Earth July 01,
2004. The camera was pointing toward SATURN-RINGS at approximately 127,127
kilometers away, and the image was taken using the CL1 and CL2 filters.
This image has not been validated or calibrated. A validated/calibrated
image will be archived with the NASA Planetary Data System in 2005.
