Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England Oval Shaped Object
Date: November 21, 2008
Time: 23.00 till after 12.00
Number of witnesses: 5
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Oval
Weather Conditions: Dry, thin cloud
Description: The same as my 14th November sighting (A faint oval patch of
whitish light moving quite quickly across the sky in a straight line,
describing a somewhat erratic 360 degree turn, retracing its trajectory and
repeating the same course for over an hour in total silence.) - but this time
there were two oval patches of light, one fainter than the other, and they
were moving in roughly circular and opposing trajectories, appearing to cross
through each other, again for over an hour.

Pedreguer, Alicante Spain Disc Shaped UFO

Weather Conditions: Lightly overcast.
Description: I'm guessing it was about 3am. The street lights were still on,
anyway. I looked up. The night was fairly crisp and clear but there was some
cloud cover high up. Behind the clouds I could see a white, disk-shaped light
moving quite quickly from side to side and back and forth. It's changes in
direction were too quick for it to be a plane or helicopter, and the light was
too big for that too. The position was over a plain, so I was sure it didn't
come from below, plus the light was definitely behind clouds, not in front.
Editor: This is a typical sighting of the Moon reflecting on the clouds.
It is classified as “Moon Dogsö.

Milton Keynes Central, Buckinghamshire, England Lights Make Triangular Shape
Date: November 25, 2008
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Weather Conditions: Clear
Description: I was a passenger in a vehicle moving along the V6 Grafton St
from N/W. When we arrived at the Portway/Grafton St roundabout traffic lights,
I saw two white lights in the sky toward the East above CMK. They were much
brighter than those of a plane. As we passed the roundabout and continued
along the V6 past Abbey House, I noted a plane high above these lights. The
mystery lights were not moving in relation to this plane above it. I then
discovered a third light, this time red in colour, pulsating slowly. The two
white lights and one red were in the shape of a perfect triangle.
By this point we were level with the object, it was still in position, and the
red light was intermittent, but pulsating. I kept this object in view until we
turned onto Childs Way. I then saw the object begin to move off slowly in a
N/West direction toward the Bradwell area.

Claremont, California 7 To 8 Lights
Date: November 27, 2008
Time: 8:00 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 15-20
Number of objects: 7-8
Shape of objects: Too dark to tell.
Weather Conditions: Partly cloudy.
Description: Saw 7-8 lights all with downward tails of light flying in a sort
of Y pattern from the south then all stopped, 2 seemed to be circling one
another, then slowly one by one the lights faded out in place. 10 minutes
later another similar light came fast across the sky from the south and then
just stopped below where the others had been, hovered and then also faded out
as the others did. My cell phone camera could not pick up the lights but 1/2
neighbors on the street saw them as well. 5-10 minutes later a military
helicopter flew over the Claremont area but it was not even close in
similarities as the other light objects. A couple people said they had seen a
blue light emitting from the lights.

Stoney Trail, Calgary, Alberta A Rectangular Shaped UFO
Date: November 30, 2008
Time: 3:30 a.m.

Shape of objects: Central light point outlined by four perimeter light point
in a (rectangular?) shape.
Weather Conditions: Calm, no wind, cool, clear.
Description: At approx 3:30am MST an object appeared about NNW from our
location roadside. The object at first appeared to be the Calgary Police's
Hawc helicopter, but very quickly I - and the two other people in my car -
realized this was not HAWCs at all. We also quickly ruled out conventional
aircraft due to the objects relative size, speed, and light patterns. The
object was high enough that we could just make out 5 lights, a blue in the
center and four lights in a rectangle around the object. The last four lights
were continuously strobing rapid patterns of red and white.
Even though the lights were small enough to indicate the object was at a high
elevation, the span of the lights covered about 1 cm x 0.6cm of my vision,
making it significantly larger than any plane I had ever seen. The object was
also closing distance toward us visibly fast. What stands out about this speed
is that the object was coming head on our direction, but we could still
determine that it was moving quickly.
Within about 10 seconds a second, identical, object separated from what had
originally appeared to be one object. One of the objects continued its
trajectory toward us, and the other object headed (banked?) to the East. Once
we saw the lateral motion we were able to reinforce our belief that these
objects were moving exceptionally fast. The oncoming object was lost to our
vision as it passed over the car - this occurred within about 30-45 seconds.
In the time it took to open the door and look for it, the object was a
smallish speck hovering far behind our position. In this same time the
eastbound object had reached a distance that made it, too, a smallish speck.
The east object maintained visible color pattern strobing while it hovered !
in position, occasionally strafing left and right by small amounts.
I attempted to use my camera phone to capture an image or video of the
objects, but I could not locate them on my screen. The only video oddity was
that a reflection-looking green "sunspot" would appear on my screen when it
was facing the object but angle to a mostly level trajectory (pointed roughly
at the horizon rather than the object) I believe the surrounding streetlights
may have been responsible for this abnormality. While the east object
continued strobing softly (though no longer continuously) the object to my
south began to dim.
Just as I thought it might disappear from sight altogether it suddenly glowed
very bright again. The diameter of the yellow-orange glow was such a distinct
increase in size and brightness (to beyond that of any star) that it gave the
impression that the object was speeding back in our direction. It quickly
faded again, strafing ever so slightly as it did. This dimming and brightening
recurred again and again for maybe 30 min - I do not know if it was simply
that the object was advancing and backing off or if it was actually pulsing
with light - before we finally lost view of both objects completely.
Two final points of interest. We never heard any sound from either object. I
do not know whether this was due to there high altitude or some other reason.
Also, when they changed direction, the size, shape, relative location, color
etc of the lights remained constant. ie: they looked like the points of a
face-on rectangle regardless of their direction of travel.

Huntington Beach, California Orange Light

Weather Conditions: Overcast 1500 foot- not sure - no stars or moon could be
seen through clouds
Description: Orange Orb Light In Huntington Beach California - December 02,
2008 I was driving west on Bolsa Street and noticed an orange light in the
sky. It was a color like I've never seen before, kind of like a candle flame.
The light was moving east and was south of me. I stopped at the store at
Springdale and Bolsa Streets. I watched the light move slowly east for about a
minute. (I really wish I took a picture of it now) I went into the store for
about five minutes. When I came out the light had moved west and was almost
overhead. It was an overcast night so the clouds reflected the orange glow.
I'm guessing that the clouds were about 1500 feet up that night. There was a
slight wind out of the south, the light did not seem to be affected by the
wind as it moved east then west, it stopped and moved slowly, there was no
sound. I drove home for about 3 minutes and when I parked my car and got out I
could still see the light. It was still moving west and was lower in the sky
since I had moved about a mile north of it.

Pasadena, Newfoundland A Bright Orb
Date: December 2, 2008
Time: Approx: 4:00 a.m.

Weather Conditions: Cloudy, rain showers.
Description: At around 4:00am I went to the bathroom, when I returned I gazed
out my window, while trying to fall asleep, I saw a bright orb that was
slowing, stopping, and backing up in the sky in a back and forth motion. It
wasn't the crescent moon that was aligned with the planets either. I watched
it for about an hour, sometimes it would be lost in the clouds, then I'd see
it again, flying in the same area. I lost sight of it again. Then I saw what
looked like some
kind of bright burst or explosion and then it was gone. I didn't see it again
after the explosion.

Renfrew, Renfrewshire UK Objects Approximately 200 Feet Off The Ground
Date: December 5, 2008
Time: 8:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Renfrew

Shape of objects: Looked like stars but, too low.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was standing opposite the Police Station
in Renfrew, waiting for a bus to take me home at about 8pm, when I happened to
look to the south and saw what looked like two bright lights close to each
other but, in a straight line. Although they looked like stars, they were just
too low in the sky. At first I thought they were helicopters but, there was no
noise and they emitted a bright, almost off - white light. They didn't move
and when the bus came, I kept looking at them. The bus travelled for about a
good 4 miles and they stayed in the same place. I lost them after that. The
height must have been about 200 feet and as it was a clear, cold night the
stars were visible but, these were an awful lot closer to the ground.

Tuscola, Illinois Star-Like Object
Date: December 5, 2008
Time: 6:00 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 1

Shape of objects: star-like, couldn't define shape. It looked like a moving
star. Wasn't a meteorite moved to slow.
Weather Conditions: Clear and cold, East horizon was just starting to lighten
up ever so slightly.
Description: This isn't the only time I have seen this type of phenomenon, I
have witnessed the same type of scenarios twice before. It seems just like a
plane, with no red or blue lights and moves much faster. All three times I
have witnessed this the aircraft moves from one horizon to another in less
than 30 seconds. On this particular incident this object was white and star
like, and seemed very high in the atmosphere, and moved to slow to be a
meteorite, and to quick to
be a plane. It moved from the Southwest sky to the Northeast sky and went from
horizon to horizon in less than 30 seconds. This object moved at a constant
speed throughout its progression.

Huntington Beach, California Another Orange Light
Date: December 6, 2008
Time: 3:15 a.m.

Shape of objects: Orange light
Weather Conditions: Perfectly clear.
Description: I saw the Orange light again. It was straight out from my front
porch low in the sky, just above the power lines. It moves slowly, stopping
then moving again, to the east. I went to grab my cell phone; The Orange light
was still there when I came back but it had stopped moving. As I watched it
and tried to turn on my phone (battery dead) it just disappeared as I watched.
This was a perfectly clear night. I could see the star Sirius and the Big
Dipper, very clearly. The Orange light was brighter than the stars, but just a
little dimmer than Sirius. The Orange light was visible for about two minutes.
Then I saw a second Orange light much higher in the sky, coming from the
northwest and moving in the direction where the first Orange light had
vanished. These two lights were unmistakably the same color orange, as I had
seen on December 2, 2008. The Orange light went to about the same area where
the first one disappeared, and then it vanished.

Griffith Park Los Angeles, California Very Bright Object

Shape of objects: Appeared Round.
Full Description of event/sighting: After my work-out I was walking back to my
car I looked up between the trees and I noticed a very bright object that
appeared to be moving in a northwesterly direction. It's brightness was about
that of Venus at it's brightest. I moved to an area where my view was
completely obstructed and continued to watch. It moved rather quickly and
slowly began to fade and finally disappear. The whole sighting took about 3
minutes.

Apple Valley, California UFO Keeps Changing Shapes
Date: December 10, 2008
Time: 2:50 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Over Apple Valley moving south over Hesparia mountains.
Number of witnesses: 3

Shape of objects: It would change shapes mostly. No it would change.
Full Description of event/sighting: It was so cool. I went to meet my son at
his bus stop and over the valley in the east direction we saw what we thought
were birds, but it would change color from white to silver to invisible. And
then we thought balloons. We just kept looking into the sky, in a amazement.
We thought balloons, but again balloons did not float and change shape in a
unison pattern. We saw shapes like a army tank, a fish, a scorpion, an oval.
All three dimensional. My son said that the kids on the bus were debating what
it was. We watched it for about 20 minutes. I keep telling him we should drive
in the car and try to follow it, but we just kept watching it, hoping it would
get closer so we could see what it was. I finally talked him in to getting the
video camera. We began to walk home, going south. Then it just seemed to take
off going south over the mountains. We watched it all the way home, which was
less than a block and by the time we were home we could not even see it in the
sky any more
