Cannon AFB And Sheppard AFB Military Personal Observe UFOs
I was based at Cannon AFB, New Mexico in 1975/76 when there were a rash of
UFO sightings at the base. I can only describe one, and I believe it was a
weather balloon. (You may be more interested in my second story). It was a
summer afternoon on a weekend. There had been a lot of talk about UFO's around
the base. Someone came running into our barracks shouting there was a UFO in
the sky directly over the base. As you can expect, everyone ran outside to
see. I remember running outside and noticing several hundred soldiers around
my barracks and the other barracks in my area looking up at it. It was
extremely high and appeared to be silver. It seemed to slowly change shape and
after watching it for several minutes you could tell it was moving slowly west
to east. Some of the senior soldiers said it was a weather balloon but there
was a large group that insisted it was a UFO. I watched it for about 15
minutes and it never did anything unusual that a UFO might do. I believe it
was a balloon.
But, I did see a UFO around January, 1975, actually two of them, at Sheppard
AFB in Wichita Falls, TX. I was with two other soldiers and it was about 1:00
in the morning. (No, we were not drunk and not on anything). We were returning
to the base in a pick-up truck. The sky was completely overcast with a ceiling
around 3,000 to 4,000 feet. While driving east, we noticed two white lights
about 2,000 feet AGL (above ground level) a couple of miles ahead of us
traveling east north east. Both were making a gradual left turn in front of
us. Each light was about as bright as a car headlight. The first light was
flying along at about 200 knots leading the second light by a 1/4 mile or so
when we first saw them. The trailing light was traveling approximately twice
as fast as the first light. They were in level flight. No strobes or beacons,
just two white lights. We were watching the planes, which is what we thought
they were, and talking about them. As the trailing light caught up to the
first, everything happened almost instantly. They were no longer two lights,
just one about the same brightness as before the other one had joined it. As
soon as the second light caught up to the first, the light shot straight up
threw the clouds at mach ???. I'm just guessing at the speed because I have no
experience with flying things that can turn and accelerate this fast. I've
seen tracer bullets fired from powerful military weapons, and this thing went
from level flight to faster than a tracer bullet, straight up. I have no doubt
it was a UFO. Whatever that means.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was just reading an account on Rense
about a football field sized UFO in Fort Stockton Texas in 1972 in which the
witness was struck by how oddly everyone was acting about seeing it Well, I'm
a bit of a UFO geek and have often thought about how intelligently I would
react if I ever saw one, but the reality of how I reacted was quite similar to
the apparent way the citizens of Fort Stockton Texas were described as
reacting. My sighting occurred in Norfolk Virginia early in the evening in the
Summer of 2006. My husband and I and our two kids were on our way out to eat
and I was angry at my husband and had decided to ride in the backseat of the
car, staring out the window so I wouldn't have to look at him. You know how we
wives can be. Well, it was Summer and it hadn't started to get dark yet and
the road we were on is a major thoroughfare in our area and the traffic was
fairly heavy at the time. I was sitting on the passengers side staring out the
window as I said earlier, when I saw a brownish black object hovering about
100 feet in the air and less than a quarter of a mile away from me.
I'm not good at judging distances but it was close. As far as the size it
appeared to be about as large as an average 7-11 or convenience store and
consisted of a number of cubes joined at odd irregular angles at a central
point in the object. As I looked at the object the only thought I had was I
wished my 50 year old eyesight was a little sharper so I could focus on the
edges better for some reason. That inexplicably was my only reaction. Once we
had passed the object I completely forgot about it and went about going out to
dinner with my family. It wasn't until the ride home, when we passed the site
again that I remembered what I had seen earlier and I thought about the
strange detached feeling I had as I looked at it. I couldn't get over that I
hadn't yelled to my family to look at it or that cars weren't pulling off the
road to look at it or crashing in to each other as they saw it. As I had
mentioned there was a lot of traffic. I decided not to tell anyone about what
I had seen because, quite frankly, I couldn't for the life of me explain my
reaction to it. It was almost as if I were in an altered state as I had
watched it. I had felt calm and unconcerned as I saw it. It wasn't until this
past December that I told my 18 year old daughter what I had seen. I just had
to tell somebody. Well, that's the description of my sighting.

Location of Sighting: NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Shape of objects: Large disc shape.
Full Description of event/sighting: I am writing in reference to the sighting
of a UFO in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The date was February 16, 2008 at 11:00
pm. I would like to say it must be real because prior to this report my wife
and I had seen the same thing close to Oceana Air Station approximately 9:00
pm. We where driving in our SUV on Dam Neck Road close to the back gate of
the Oceana Air Station in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I looked up into the sky
and saw the same thing, a large dark disk shaped object with red lights spaced
far apart. It was just above the tree tops and made no sound. As we kept
driving to London Bridge Road, the red lights would flash but it didn't move.
We were on our way home but I didn't pay attention to it. We don't know how
long it was there and when it left, but I just want to say that I could
confirm what was said from the group in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Also my
wife and I seen this sighting several months prior to their report, sometime
in late October early November. But it had to of been the same object as it
was described exactly as my wife and I saw it. Thank you.

Bury Lancashire, England Five Bright Flame Like Lights

Shape of objects: Bright lights in box shape one on each corner on in middle
slightly higher than the rest.
Full Description of event/sighting: We arrived home at around 6:00pm 12.2.08.
and started unloading car. My wife said what are these strange lights in the
sky, I said probably a plane. We all went out to look and saw five bright
flame like lights above us arranged in a square with one in the middle
slightly higher than the others. We realized they were not moving and they
were low down and stayed there for 5 minutes or more during which time a plane
passed near to them on its approach to Manchester Airport. We didn't get our
camcorder unfortunately and the lights slowly went out then disappeared. We
would like to know whether anyone else saw same or could tell us what this
strange sighting was, as it has been a mystery to us ever since that night.

Shape of objects: Bright light encompassing the sky.
Full Description of event/sighting: At 9:15pm Monday evening, 2/25/2008 - my
son and I were watching TV. It was heavily snowing outside. Suddenly, the sky
was completely lit up with a bright light with a faint bluish tint, this
lasted at least 30 seconds then it turned a faint pink and was gone! We went
outside but could see nothing, nor hear anything except a faint humming and
then a little "sizzle" just before it was gone! We jumped in the car and drove
a 3 mile radius around our house (we live in the country). It was all quiet,
no fireman, policemen, nothing.
I called our neighbor the next morning. They, too, saw it. Their children
were upstairs and ran down to them on the main level of their house very
scared. At the very moment the light appeared every land line phone in our
neighbor's house started ringing. They picked them up but they just kept
ringing. They continued to ring until the light disappeared.

West Frankfort, Illinois Four Lights Arranged Horizontally - UFO (Graphic)

Location of Sighting: West Frankfort, IL, west of highway 37.

Shape of objects: Indistinct.
Full Description of event/sighting: There were four white lights, arranged
horizontally, side-by-side on the front of the vehicle. It flew at about the
pace of a casual helicopter at a height of perhaps six to eight average
telephone poles, can't be too exact, seeing that my depth perception isn't
amazing. It had one pulsing white light on the bottom, which could not be seen
until it appeared to be about two blocks (maybe 300 feet) away. The shape was
rather indistinct, but it appeared to have a fin or protrusion of some sort at
perhaps a 60 degree angle from the base. It was flying almost due south. It
made no noticeable noise over the sound of my vehicle (which isn't all that
loud, and I have excellent hearing).

San Fernando California A Cigar Shaped UFO And Circular Objects
Date: February 26, 2008
Time: Approx: 3:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: San Fernando CA.

Shape of objects: One was cigar shaped and rest were circular.
Full Description of event/sighting: At approx 3:30 pm over San Fernando
(Truman St and San Fernando Mission Blvd) myself and 4-5 co-workers noticed a
cigar shaped object white in color, staying still for the most part but
moving slowly on occasion. It appeared directly overhead quite high up and
was stationary for about three minutes when a number of bright circular
objects appeared around it. They did not appear to exit the main cigar shaped
object but rather just appeared next to it. The numerous circular object flew
around the main object much like fireflies. The flight seemed to be random
'play' but on more then one occasion the circular objects would form a
geometric shape (a cross, a rectangle with 3 objects in 2 parallel lines,
etc). After a few minutes the circular objects just disappeared, only to
reappear a few moments later. Same activity then they simply disappeared
again. All the while the main object was drifting upwards until it vanished
from sight. The viewing lasted about 20 minutes and was seen by at least 5
people.

Shape of objects: Couldn't define shape but flashing red and blue lights
Full Description of event/sighting: I think this may have finally been the
first time in my life I spotted a UFO. It's 1:30am as I write this and I don't
know what this was. I started to watch in the sky, but I can tell you, it
wasn't a plane or anything I have ever seen in my life with my own eyes. I
came home around 11:30pm with my girlfriend. My office, 2nd bedroom has a
great view looking from south to almost north exposure of the sky with only 2
buildings that somewhat block out a bit of the view more to almost dead south,
but still you a great wide view of the night sky. But tonight was different
than any other night since I have moved here in the last year or so. When we
came home I noticed this type of pulsating light in the sky at a very low
angle to the earth due west (looking straight out from our balcony), I would
say perhaps at like 30 degrees or so.
Now, I can tell you I work from home and I am looking at the sky every night
since I have the nightshift and I can tell you that I have seen the movement
of the moon and stars, planes lining up for their landings since I'm not that
far from the airport. I see helicopters all the time and I know enough to know
that this light was something unordinary to me. I got my girlfriend to start
to take notice of it for she doesn't really believe in UFOs coming to see us,
but she believes in the possibility of them existing. Where I believe it for
there is too much proof once you dig into the subject enough, there is too
much evidence that proves compared to disproving it. But we kept comparing
this light's movement (or lack there of) to the movement of the other stars
for the course of a little over a hour.
This light from the time I came home that was flashing, not flickering and at
times its lights would strobe in almost a Morse code type pattern, I couldn't
tell if it was spinning but I went to my other room to get a monocular I have
that's good to about I'd say 2000 meters and what I saw was just this
tremendous white light with a red and blue light strobing. From around 11:30pm
to about 1:10ish this light stayed in the same position while planes would fly
by. I thought it might be Venus, but I am not versed with knowing if it could
of been a planet for it just was so bright. So as me and my girlfriend
compared it with the other stars, we could tell in the timeframe mentioned
that the 'other' stars only slightly moved, while this light stayed in the
same spot in the sky.
Then around, I'd say the last 13 minutes or so of watching this for the last
hour or so this light started to move diagonally in a northwest direction and
started to get fainter and fainter until it was not visible anymore in about
the last 10 minutes. Now here is the clincher for me, those other stars I was
comparing this flashing/strobing/Morse coding stars movement to, were still in
generally the same spots from my view and I made sure not to move and stay
seated and stay still and just watch this while my girlfriend would casually
take a look too, and those same other stars have moved only slightly from my
view now and are still visible and are still there as I write this. That
whatever it was, is now gone, or rather it took off. I believe that this might
be either something in NEO that the Canadian Gov't hasn't told us, maybe it
was Venus, maybe its something from the USA's weaponization space program,
maybe it was the ISS, but more than anything, I feel very strongly that it was
an UFO for the simple reason as I said before, I work from home and since its
the cold season night comes quicker and my afternoon/evening/morning shift I
see the sky every night and I don't ever remember seeing something as weird as
this.
I can tell you its not like anything I have seen that would be comparable to a
plane's movements or a helicopters just hovering, but obviously its for
privileged ones to know. Either way, after years of trying to convince her to
realize that they do exist after this experience tonight she can honestly say
with me we say something that did not fit with what we know about what we have
been taught by the mainstream about what's in the sky. If we did indeed maybe
see something that is typical, please let us know. For again, it was a very
interesting pulsating light, low on the horizon looking west. Thanks for your
time. I would like to know a professional opinion if we did see our first UFO,
I always believed, just wanted to finally see it.

Toronto, Ontario Round Object Flashing Blue And Red Lights

Full Description of event/sighting: I am glad to notice that somebody else has
experienced the same discovery in the night sky on February 28th, 2008
At the first moment we thought that we have seeing a big bright star, however
a couple seconds later we acknowledged very intensive splashes of blue and red
light. To explore précised details of this object we have decided to use the
16 times multiplication scope; through it we have seen an obvious picture of
blue and red light. In couple of minutes later we realized that the object is
moving in very unusual trajectory. A trajectory of this object was absolutely
different from the flying satellite or comet. It was very interesting
experience seeing such an unusual object in the night sky - probably UFO!

West Of Cornwall, Ontario Cylindrical Shaped Craft (UFO) Filmed

Shape of objects: Round/Cylindrical.
Full Description of event/sighting: Driving along the 401 going Westbound past
Cornwall, we noticed a orange object that was a little brighter than the
horizon. The object was stationary for periods of time and also moved around
rapidly sometimes, making maneuvers I have not seen any military or civilian
jet make.
Approximately 20 minutes of driving later (did not even think to take out a
camera or that it was a UFO), the object turned from orange to black, with a
dark cloud around it (the sky was not cloudy at all). The object kept the same
movements and stationary periods, and occasionally faded into the background
and was visible again.
As I said we did not even think to take out the camera and put it on "Video
Record" mode, but did manage to get one picture, albeit from a distance and it
is kind of blurry. After the picture, it disappeared and we looked but no
luck.
I should also mention that at some points it was ONLY visible through the
camera because the shadow around it blended with the sky so nicely that only a
light zoom on the camera allowed it to show.

Northbound Towards Lynchburg, Virginia UFO Zig Zags In Front Of Vehicle

Location of Sighting: Headed 501 Northbound towards Lynchburg.

Shape of objects: Orb.
Full Description of event/sighting: The unit was zig zagging back and forth in
front of my vehicle. It then hovered directly over head. It was a bright
light, it looked to be a star but it was about 15,000 feet up. It was a rather
large unit also to be so high in the sky. It remained close by for about 2
minutes and then just as fast as a shooting star would fly across the sky it
disappeared into the darkness. As it went out of sight the whole unit turned a
red color. It was faster than any plane could have flown, I'm sure of that.
I'm not sure where it came from, I noticed it due to the fact that it looked
like a very close star. A very big star that I have never seen before, this is
what caught my eye. But I know that shooting stars don't make zig and zag back
and forth nor do they hover, and I know that helicopters don't fly very fast.
