Fort Lauderdale, Florida Pinpoint Of White Light With A Green Cloud
Date: August 1969
Time: 8:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Shape of objects: Pinpoint of white light with a green cloud.
I was 15 and living with my married sister (26) who was pregnant in a
residential area of Fort Lauderdale, FL near the inter-coastal waterway. We
went into her backyard, behind the pool. It was dark and a clear night. My
sister exclaimed and grabbed my arm and pointed up towards the sky.
Straight up was the brightest white light I'd ever seen (brighter than a Klieg
light), a pinpoint of white light that spiraled out in lines that were so even
they could have been made with a 'compass', the pinpoint of light continued to
shine as the spiralling lines filled the entire upper horizon. But what was
odd is that we could see through the widening white, spiralling lines. We
could see the starry sky through the widening white lines.
Next to the pinpoint of white light was a neon green cloud. A cloud, like a
white cloud you'd seen on a blue-sky day, except this cloud was green and it
glowed like a green neon sign.
We both stood there with our mouths agape and watched this entire phenomenon
for about 2 minutes... the white, transparent, wide spiral lines filled the
entire upper horizon and then the white pinpoint just stopped emanating light
and the green cloud took a few more minutes to fade away.
Apparently, thousands of people in Ft. Lauderdale saw this and called into
police. NASA claimed the next day that it was a 'reflection off of a rocket
that was shot over the ocean as the sun was going down.'
The only problem is, it was dark, it was 8:30 PM and the sun sets on the
Gulf/west side of Florida. We were on the east side of Florida, quite close
to the Atlantic ocean (perhaps 1 mile).
There was no way this was a reflection off a rocket as it was straight up and
the pinpoint of light was emanating from above the earth (from space) and it
shown down to the atmosphere where it spread out across the entire upper sky.
In my opinion, some superior visitors were taking a very large 'photo' of the
area.
The green cloud was translucent. The white spiral lines were transparent.
I work in the film business and there is no light we have today that is as
bright as the pinpoint of very white light was.

Clovis, New Mexico UFOs Observed By Many - Cannon AFB Dismiss Event

HBCC UFO Research Note: I have also received some reports over the recent
Texas UFO sightings, but what really has caught my attention is I have two
reports, the one below from an eyewitness who resided in Clovis, New Mexico
and reports on ongoing sightings of some strange, or unknown objects. She said
the folks in Clovis were talking about this, plus the media pulled into town
to do a story on the events. As you will read, the military once again said
nothing to the residents to maybe calm or give some type of explanation to
what everyone had been observing.
Because I have received numerous reports from either military servicemen who
were on duty at the Cannon AFB or knew of the ongoing UFO sightings, and also
residents from the entire area and towns who were witnessing all kind of
unusual craft, lights, etc, I would sure like to hear from anyone else who
lives in Clovis, New Mexico and the other towns in N.M. and of course military
servicemen who worked at the Cannon AFB. Please note: your personal

I've been reading about the recent sightings of the UFO in Stephenville,
Texas and I'm not by any means a follower of most of this kind of stuff, but
Surfing the net I came across the story on your site about the burned out spot
in Clovis, N.M. back in the mid 70's. While I don't know how I didn't ever
hear about that one, I grew up in Clovis, and remembered an event that
everyone in town knew about back in the mid 70's, I want to say it was
probably summertime of 75 or 76, I was in high school at the time. A mass of
strange lights would streak across the night sky for quite a while each night
for a period of about a week or so. I remember that the neighbour's son and me
would climb up on the roof of our house each night and watch this spectacle
several nights that it happened. Very fast lights, (a lot of them red, if I
remember correctly) in strange patterns would almost dance across the sky.
Plane lights were always in a line or moving at what seemed to be a slow pace,
and we knew that this kind of light pattern was nothing like airplanes, etc.
It was all over the news back then and talk of the town, and I think that some
of the national news media was dispatched to town for several days.
Cannon AFB is only about 8 miles west of Clovis, and naturally the common
thing to dismiss such an event was to say it was stuff like weather balloons,
aircraft tests, military goings-on, etc., but it kind of got swept under the
rug after it was over. But I was there, I saw it, and I know that there was no
really logical explanation for what we saw.
I remember it very distinctly. I don't know what the lights were, and I don't
think anyone else does, either, but they were not planes or normal aircraft,
nothing I know of even in this day and time can move as fast as these lights
did. Stars may pulsate, but they don't go dancing across the sky in random
patterns up and down and side to side like these did.

Carlisle, Cumbria U.K. A Large Orange Elliptical Object
Date: February 6, 2000

After finishing our final night-shift break a group of us came out of the
canteen and started down the steps when I looked up into the night sky (clear
frosty night) to see a large orange elliptical object pass straight over us at
an estimation of 150-200 feet high. It moved silently and fairly slowly in the
direction of the M6 motorway. The object appeared to be glowing wildly almost
as if it was on fire but no "bits" were coming off it. It may be of interest
to know that similar sightings were reported to the News & Star a couple of
months previous.

Over North Carolina UFOs Flew Directly Toward The Aircraft

I was travelling by air to Texas from NY and we stopped in North Carolina for
an hour. We took off around 4:00 pm on the way to Texas. After about 15 or 20
minutes, the pilot announced we are at 22,000 feet. I had a window seat. A few
minutes after, I noticed several dark patches of clouds. I never saw black
clouds. They were 2 to 3 miles away to my estimation. These clouds started to
take shape. They became very straight and they started to move slowly pointing
towards the ground. Some were going upwards. They were about nine of them.
They took form about 1 minute apart. I cannot exactly say how long these
objects were, but they were not very long. I also noticed there was an object,
just parked there very still, to the far right, away from whatever was going
on. You couldn't miss it. It was big. It just seems to be observing or
directing. That object was disc shape, and it was black also. I looked towards
the ground and I noticed smoke. I also saw lights flashing, something was on
fire.
The pilot had to be seeing all of this, and I am sure some passengers too. The
strange thing is, it seems like the plane took a very long time to get through
that area of the sky. This experience lasted about ten minutes, but it seems
like forever. At one point one of the rods turned towards the plane and there
was a red light in front, and all you could see is that red light. You'll
never know there is a long tail behind it. It came towards the airplane real
fast. I saw it coming and I thought it was going to hit, so I crouch behind
the seat in front of me but it flew over. I can't believe no one on the plane
said something. They had to see it but only if they were looking out. I
started to look around to see who else was observing this, but I didn't want
to miss this strange event, so I didn't. It was an Air Tran plane I was on.
I told a few friends about it. This is something you really have to
experience for yourself. I did not know what these things were, or what they
are called until I saw some pictures on the Internet which look almost exactly
like what I saw. Not too long after that, we hit a bad storm and the flight
became very rough, and scary too. We landed in Texas safe but late. I am 52
years old and do not drink. I am a flooring technician and very sane. All I
can say is I know what I saw, but I do dot know what it is.

Annapolis County, Nova Scotia Two UFOs Ducking And Diving

There were these two intensely bright lights, bright enough they backlit
about two miles of the North Mountain when they dove behind the Parker
Mountain. They also moved along a 15-mile distance within seconds, back and
forth. They were relatively small, but quick and so bright, my husband and I
watched them for about fifteen to twenty minutes, ducking and diving
individually. And then, suddenly, they moved one by one into the north passage
leading into the Bay of Fundy and we didn't see them again

Maryland A Very Large Cylinder Of Light

While driving south on 270 heading towards Washington, DC, still about 40
miles form DC I saw a very large beam of light appear on the horizon slightly
south east of the Highway. I could tell this beam of light was about 5 miles
away. I could see the outline of the hill in front of it. Visibility that
night was clear but the clouds were low enough that when the light appeared I
could clearly see where it met the clouds. To give you a scope of how big it
was it was as if there were a thousand spotlights all in the same spot turned
on at the same time for just a second then it was gone. The FedEx stadium, the
football stadium is in that general direction but they're where no football
games that night, and even when there are I've never seen a large cylinder of
light shining above, around or through that area. I called local radio
stations and T.V. news stations to report this, but they thought I was nuts.

Cluj Napoca, Romania Cigar Disc Or Possibly Donut Shaped UFO

I'm an amateur photographer. I was at an elevated area that over looks the
town to take some scenes of the snow on the rooftops. Normally I would use a
tripod, but this day I'd forgotten to bring it. I took a wide shot looking
southeast. I then repeated the same shot 16 seconds later as I felt that I
hadn't aligned the horizon correctly. I didn't notice anything at the time,
but when I got home and uploaded the images I noticed a dark shape on one
frame. I shoot digital and my normal procedure is to open the image to full
size to remove dust spots etc. But this dark shape was definitely not a dust
spot. It wasn't on the preceding frame shot 34 seconds earlier or the later
frame. I shot 28 images that day and it's only on 1. Once the object is
enlarged you can see how it reflects the light. The sun was low in the sky,
behind light cloud to the right of the image. The object is lighter on the top
and right and shaded on the left and bottom, consistent with the bright part
of the sky. It's definitely in the landscape, not on the lens or any other
part of the camera. It's also definitely not a bird. There are no hard edges.
I've photographed birds before and it looks nothing like that. It's
interesting that an aircraft operated by Romanian airline Carpatair landed at
the local airport only about 5-10 minutes later, flying right through where
the object had been. I would like to know if the aircrew or ground controllers
saw anything. I'm not saying it was a spaceship, but it's definitely
unidentified and unexplainable.

Spring, Texas Daylight UFO Sighting

Yesterday afternoon, I was at the garage door getting some firewood for the
fire pit in the back yard and two of the neighbour kids came by to say hi. A
jet flew over at that moment (we live under the north flight corridor out of
IAH), and I told the kids to look up at the jet. I always look up anytime a
jet goes over, one of the things I like about that house! Well, it was a noisy
jet, but just a little one, nothing remarkable, so I went back to getting
firewood. But then both of the kids, very excitedly, started yelling, "Look at
the parachute, there is a parachute coming down!" They were so enthusiastic
about what they were seeing; I looked up but could not see anything
immediately. But the kids could still see it and pointed it out to me.
Then, I saw it! It was not a parachute, but it was very brightly colored, that
is why they probably thought of calling it a parachute! It was following in
the path of the jet that had just gone by, and I did not have but a couple of
seconds to watch it before it went behind the clouds and was gone. It made no
noise, even though it's altitude was not that great, maybe four or five
thousand feet (planes taking off over our house should be at 3,000 feet before
they climb up to their flight level). My memory wants to say it was orange,
but a deep Color of orange like the old Denver Broncos uniforms (not burnt
orange!). It seems in my mind's eye now that is did not look like a normal
airplane, but it was flying in a straight line due north and was going pretty
fast, I would estimate 200 mph. I said flying, but it seemed almost to be
gliding. But gliding is not a good word, because that implies slowing down,
not going faster like this thing was. It seemed to have a bulbous body and
short stubby wings. If it had not been going so fast, I might have called it a
balloon! But now I do not know what the heck it was, it was certainly not
like any airplane I have ever seen. So I told the kids we had just seen a UFO!
They thought that was pretty cool. I just regret that I did not get to see it
longer than what I did, because it all happened so fast, it is hard to grasp
the concept of what is really was. A few more seconds of watching it and I
probably would have discerned it to be something logical, but now I can only
consider it as something not of this world!

Denver, Indiana Aircraft Give Chase To Triangular UFO

Around 9:00 pm my son were coming home from the store. He saw what appeared
to be a very large triangular object above our home. He flashed his vehicle
lights at the object and it turned as if to acknowledge that it saw him. He
rushed into the house to get us. We all went on the front porch. By this time
the object was still low but had moved nearer to the neighbours farm. It made
no noise but it appeared to change shapes from time to time. It could move
fast or just hover. The lights changed from time to time as well. We saw 3 or
4 different airplanes that continued to circle the "UFO" and gave chase after
the UFO left. Everyone in our community saw the object. People in neighbouring
towns saw it as well.

I was outside in the garden putting out the rubbish. I looked up into the sky
and while looking at the stars, all of a sudden there was a flash in the upper
atmosphere followed by the appearance of a circular object. It was super white
and a little reflective looking. It looked like either heat shimmer or I could
describe it as liquid light? It had a crisp hard edge to it against the
darkness of the sky and it stayed for about 2-3 seconds and as quick as it
appeared, it vanished with a little blink. It only wobbled a tiny bit all the
two seconds it was there and it didn't fly or move around the sky. In terms of
size, I could see the moon in the sky at same time and it was about a quarter
of the moons size.

Rancho Santa Margarita, California Oval Shaped UFO Making Strange Manoeuvres

Looked up in the hillside and noticed two pulsating lights over the mountain.
They were changing from white to red- disappearing and then reappearing in a
different location. Changing altitude and direction at very high speed. They
were flying similar to a helicopter pattern but they made turns a helicopter
would not make. I got my neighbours and family to come out and see it.

Branson West, Missouri UFO Sightings And Close Encounter
Date: January 18, 2008

Shape of objects: White star like object.
White star like object "hovering" in the sky. I had seen these "brilliant
white stars," but they look "different" and other "pulsating blue and red
stars" before, starting June 2007. They will be hovering all night, sometimes
two or thee. But as I watched this one around 5:50 am it began to move. This
was the first time I actually saw one move! It slowly started moving in a
straight upward direction. Then, suddenly it just switched to moving in an
easterly direction, now faster. I ran up an around the building it was going
over to watch it. It moved way out, and was very small, but it was still
there. Then it suddenly "appeared" larger and closer again, and just "hovered"
for about 15 minutes. At that time a car and a State Trooper car pulled into
the parking lot, maybe because they were seeing it also. They just stopped
there for a few minutes, then the first car left, going back in the direction
he came. The State Trooper car stayed for about 5 minutes more, then turned
back and went in back from where they came also.
I did not see the object flew away; it just "disappeared" from sight. When it
changed direction from straight up and moved across the sky in the easterly
direction, it looked bigger, and must have been closer. This morning I woke up
at about 4:40 am and looked outside. There were three "pulsating red and blue
stars" hovering again. Almost parallel, one to the left, one to the right and
one three quarters the distance between the other two, to the right also. That
was the largest one, which I think was closer. When I went back to look at
5:15 am the largest one was gone! The other two still there, same spot. The
real stars are all out, no cloud cover; it is dark and clear sky. At 5:35 am I
looked out and just at that moment I saw the "star" to the left, over a garden
centre building, but way up begin to move parallel, getting smaller and
smaller, and disappears! The "star" on the right is still "hovering." Only one
left.
All the real stars in the sky are still exactly where they have been, and I
went outside in the nine degrees weather to see this too. At about 6:15 am the
last "star" starts to move slowly in a downward direction, then up again, then
away from me, getting smaller and smaller. Then a plane crosses in a North to
South direction, the "star" does nothing. Then about 5 minutes after the plane
went past, the "star" comes back closer toward my direction again, then
"hovers" for another 20 minutes. Then at about 6:45 am the "star" moves off in
a straight Westerly direction, getting tiny and disappears! I had never seen
them move and disappear like this before. I have actually been watching them
only since June 2007. Now I know they are not "stars" for sure. I will be
watching them.
Also, I told you of the "close encounter" in New York July 11, 2008 (?). Well,
last night 6:10 pm (7:10 pm) her time she called to tell me she had just had
another "experience" while driving home on the remote road to her house. This
time as she was about a mile up the road she saw a "white round light" above
her friend's/friend's house, off in the distance. Then, as she was driving the
"white light object with crystal like lights and light beams" was moving along
with her as she was trying to get to the house about a mile up the road. It
was dark out, but as she drove suddenly there "was a beam of light like
moonlight coming in through the "sunroof" of her vehicle. She closed the
Sunroof and drove as fast as possible to get to the house, jumped out and got
inside as fast as possible with her Old English sheepdog. I was surprised this
time she was not hysterical, like we were when the "spaceship encounter"
happened in July, but she said she felt "sort of energized," not scared. She
thought it was her adrenaline or something. Later when she talked to me more
about it, she was scared again thinking about what had just happened, and her
son has to come up that road after midnight. She is selling the house by the
end of the month. I thought she should move out here, but I don't know, they
are out here also. We are hoping they are "top secret" military homeland
security vehicles. What do you think? This is too much.

Edmonton, Alberta UFO Travels Along And Comes To A Hover

Location of Sighting: Looking from Southeast Edmonton-object was at
north/northeast.

Shape of objects: Difficult to tell.
I was driving northbound on somewhat of a dull-lit morning shortly after
dawn. I saw flashing bright lights like a strobe. It was at a great distance
from me and I could not make out the shape. It first looked like a plane or a
chopper but the lights were silver and blue and very sharp and bright emitted
at such a far distance-too sharp and flashing too quickly perhaps for a plane.
I am guessing the object was 3 km away and maybe 1/2 a kilometre up. The
lights were too brilliant for a plane that far away especially on a misty
morning. My car was stopped at a red light and I was able to see the object
longer. The object then moved across the horizon from east to west, but at a
very quick speed; and again too fast for a plane covering a distance of 2-3 km
in about 6 sec. Then the object suddenly stopped in mid-flight-hovering. The
next thing that happened was truly strange. The object turned a bright orange
glow with its lights larger than a plane. It was one big orange light
encompassing the entire object-definitely not a plane. It sat there for about
3 seconds then it started moving back east again but this time the sharp
lights returned to its original strobing silvery-blue lights as it headed east
but at a slower speed this time. I had to park the car on the side of the road
to view it longer but the object headed northeast and eventually disappeared.
