Osprey Lake, (Princeton) British Columbia Two Long White Cylinders
Date: June, 2001 . Time: 4:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Osprey Lake

Shape of objects: Long White cylinders.
Full Description of event/sighting: My son who was 11 at the time and I were fishing in a boat on Osprey lake. We had often looked up at the sky and saw quite a few Jets leaving long contrails behind them. Then we happened to look up to see what we thought was another jet but this time there was no contrail. Upon looking closer we saw what looked like two long cylinders travelling side by side, with out wings or any sound and it looked twice as long as the jets.

Kelowna, British Columbia Stationary Light
Date: Approx: August 2003. Time: Around 10:30 to 11:00 at night.
Message: Hi there, I just read the article on Castanet about UFO sightings. I moved from Kelowna to Chilliwack in July 2004 but I saw something strange, a light over Okanagan Lake around August 2003. My Condo was facing the Mission just south of KLO Road and I was living on the top floor (4) and had an excellent view from Black Mountain to Okanagan Lake. I was still a smoker then and spent lots of time on my balcony.
I saw this light which was about 70% stationary and at times moved to the right or to the left. Watched this with my binoculars for more than an hour and I knew that it was not an airplane. Airplanes do not stay in one place and I thought perhaps it was a UFO and then I laughed it off as being absurd. I told my children what I had seen and they did not know what to think of that story. This must have been around 10:30 to 11:00 at night. So, that is my story.

Over Okanagan Lake Kelowna, British Columbia Another Witness To The UFO Sighting
Date: May 18, 2007. Time: Daytime sighting.
I read on Castanet.net that your a looking for witnesses of the UFO on May 18, 2007 over the Okanagan Lake. I saw the UFO over the Okanagan lake, not sure what time of day it was because I didn't think to look. It looked somewhat like a Tupperware lid almost. It was really bright, kind of like a bright you get when you see the sun reflect off a plane. it was moving north of the lake, which I know is not allowed by planes at that altitude. It was afternoon I believe. However, I saw something similar earlier in the day as well in the Southern skies. I was driving across the Okanagan Floating Bridge and it kind of caught my eye and it was a bit earlier in the day, maybe around 9ish? I saw it, but it was one of those "Meh, airplane whatever" but later in the day probably around 3ish, maybe a bit earlier than that, I was walking along the boardwalk to clear my head as I just went through a break up and I looked up and I saw the exact same thing as earlier.
I looked really closely and I could see something like a Tupperware lid shape. Like I said earlier, it was kind of shining like a reflection off the fuselage of an airplane at that altitude. I actually got scared at one point because it kind of started to do a bit of a twitch kind of thing, kind of like what happens in horror movies and ghosts with the twitch where it looks like there are more than 1 and the camera is trying to focus, but at the same time, making a constant move north. Now being a friend of a pilot, I know that air travel at that altitude is not allowed in that direction. I then kind of got close to the ground cause I was terrified out of my mind, but I kept watching it, sometimes I thought it had left because it went behind a cloud but then it showed again. There was no sound at all, no con-trail, no wings or tail, just like a Tupperware lid as I said. It then made a sharp movement to the west, kind hovered there, then it looked like something out of a badly made Sci Fi Movie with how fast it moved and it was gone.

Oakford, Illinois Objects Moving In Different Patterns And Jet Aircraft
Date: June 2007. Time: Evening
I live in a small town called Oakford, I was wanting to share my experience with someone who wouldn't think I was crazy. In June of this year my son came downstairs and was frantic about some lights he had saw outside in the sky. He asked me to come outside and look, but I said nothing at first. So I went back in the house and was in there about five minutes when he came back in and said" mom you got to see this". I first thought he saw a plane flying because there was planes flying at night. But then I went ahead and sat down in the chair and finally I saw what he was observing.
I can't explain it, but it looked like two and sometimes three stars moving in all directions at a very fast pace. Almost like they were chasing each other, but in circles and triangular shapes in the air. Then they stopped all of a sudden. These lights were almost a orange color and turned on just for two or three seconds.
They looked like head lights on a car. Then they were off again, and flying in weird patterns. I know this sounds stupid but it is true. About fifteen minutes after this had happened, three jets flying from the south going north come blasting through the air like they were looking for something. Maybe the objects might have showed up on the radar in the near big town that is south of us. It was really weird and I cannot explain it. Last night which was the 18th of June my husband said come here. He was standing on the porch. He pointed up to the sky and two objects that looked like stars again where out there moving around in a weird pattern. They are to fast to planes because planes cannot maneuver like that. I think it something that we always hear about. Just a reminder I live out in the country where you can see for miles of stars. So what do you think it might be. Can you help?

South Bend, Indiana Triangular In Shape With A Reddish Pinkish Hue
Date: June 19, 2007. Time: Approx: 10:28 p.m.

Shape of objects: Triangular.
Sky conditions were very good and I'm a backyard astronomer and we were just commenting how well even Saturn looked this evening with a 24mm eyepiece and Barlow lens. With seven stars of the dipper showing well and 8 stars in Scorpio showing at the horizon this is about as good as the sky can be from my back yard. My neighbor and I were facing north, northwest waiting to view the ISS and Shuttle when approximately at 10:28 pm a pinkish red object appeared at about 30 degrees in the sky. Traveling in a direction to south, southeast reaching a maximum elevation of 40 degrees and disappearing in the south, southwest at 30 degrees. Object seem to travel about the speed of a small air plane maybe 150 miles per hour. Object was triangular in shape reddish pinkish hue. There was no engine sound prop or jet sound. No blinking lights that would look like an airplane. As clear as the night sky was object seem to look somewhat opaque. My neighbor and I viewed this object for about 90 seconds flight time. Nine minutes later we stood and viewed the ISS with the Shuttle trailing behind it. We wonder just what this first object was that we saw.

Escondido, California Two Gold Colored Spheres Ascending
Date: June 19, 2007. Time: 10:45 p.m.

Shape of objects: Sphere.
My fiancée and myself were eating dinner in the parking lot of Ralph's grocery store when we observed two gold colored spheres ascending from a low altitude approx 300-400ft. One of them was slightly larger and alot brighter than the other. Both were ascending slowly, the smaller sphere was approx 50 feet higher and slightly to the right of the larger sphere. 15 seconds into the sighting, the smaller sphere faded out and was gone. As soon as the larger sphere reached the same point where the small sphere had been, it too faded out.
After about 25 minutes, I was taking my fiancée home going eastbound on El Norte Pkwy when we saw a very large and very bright white light that seemed to be moving slowly over the mountains east of Escondido. That didn't seem odd at first because the object was in the flight path that civilian aircraft use to land at Palomar Airport in Carlsbad. I was about to write it off as a landing light when I realized that it had gotten bigger and was stationary in the sky over the mountains. Then it faded out just like the two gold colored spheres did. The evening was a little cold, the sky was clear and there were no other aircraft in the immediate area. Culver, Oregon The International Space Station And Docked Shuttle (Pictures)

I was working finishing my home's front porch on June 20 2007 late evening when I look up and saw this two bright lights crossing the sky. Since I was taking a picture of airplanes crossing over and leaving trails and trying to catch on film this convoy. I have seen some other times of one big liner and two small escorts flying very high. I took some shots of the lights and I was very exited and downloaded them to my PC. Also before jumping the gun and calling it a UFO, I did some research under my wife's advice and we found out that in fact this object is the International Space Station and the second light was the Space shuttle.
I thought on sharing with you and the gang. So there is a point of reference to compare if some one sees something up in the sky and takes a picture or looks at it with a telescope, the Shuttle looked just like a dot and left a trail in the picture. I didn't pan the camera with it I was to exited.
This ended up being great shots and also IFO's, well maybe next time I get to see one of the famous triangles.

New York State Thruway From Albany To Fonda A Triangle Shaped Craft

Shape of objects: Triangle.
I was traveling from Albany to Utica and as I left Albany I saw what I thought was a bright star to the southwest of me. As I traveled the light seemed to move northeast. After about 15 minutes the light seemed to be moving along the path of the thruway and I began to catch up with it in the car. As I neared the Amsterdam exit it was on the North side of the road and I tried to calculate it's height. I estimated that it was between 500 and 1000 feet. I then noticed two small red lights positioned approximately 1000 feet at 11 o'clock from the triangle shape. A couple of minutes latter they disappeared and I discounted them as possibly a small plane.
As I neared the Fonda exit I thought I would catch it. It seemed odd that the light was continuous and had a halo effect around the triangle and was pure white. It moved over the Barge Canal and I lost sight of it behind the trees. I rushed to the parking area about 1 mile up the road to regain a look at it.
When I pulled in the parking area I jumped out of the car and ran past the trees to see if it was still there. I looked and saw it across the water on top of the ridge 1 mile distant. It was not moving but sitting near the top of the trees. I watched and tried to convince myself that there was a cell tower or some other structure there. I called my wife about 5 minutes latter and told her I was still looking at it when ,all of a sudden the two red lights appeared again directly to the left of the object. It slowly rose straight up and as it did the triangle, that had remained positioned over the trees for 10 minutes and remained the same size, slowly , very slowly began to lower itself into the trees. As it did this a shooting star fell to it's right about a 1/4 mile away. After a few minutes it was gone behind the trees.
This occurred on the ridge along route 5 north about 1 mile before the big nose and little nose cliffs and about 1/4 mile from the National KAteri Indian Shrine. If anyone has an explanation I would appreciate it! Regards.

Northeast Of Calgary, Alberta A Rapidly Moving Light
Date: June 25, 2007 Time: Approx: 11:50 p.m.
Tonight at approximately 11:50pm I spotted what appeared to be a rapidly moving star – at first I thought it was a satellite, but based on my previous observations of satellite movements, this object was moving far too quickly to be a satellite. It moved in a northward direction, but was quite faint and I found it difficult to track the object’s movement. I watched the object for between 30 seconds and 1 minute. The security light was on by our garage (impeding my ability to track the object), and as the object continued moving southward, I lost sight of it. I walked over to the outdoor light and unplugged it to see if I could locate the object again, and after approx. 1 minute, I located the object a second time (however, it could have been a second object, as I did lose track of this object for approx. 1 minute. The object was now tracking southward at was moving at approximately the same speed.
From my position, the object was traveling at a trajectory that was in-between the moon (to the southwest) and what I assumed to be Venus (to the southeast) – it being the brightest “starö in night sky. After tracking the star-like object for approx: 30 seconds, out of the corner of my eye I spotted a shooting star – to my left (east). The shooting star shot rapidly across the sky and then disappeared, and I continued watching the star-like object as it continued on its’ southward journey for approx. another 30 seconds (although it may have been longer – perhaps a 1 minute) before losing sight of this object – i.e. in total, the object took between 1 and 1 ½ minutes to travel across the sky from its’ original north position to where I lost sight of it in the southern sky. Note: I did not track the object all the way to a southern horizon position – instead, it seemed to grow fainter until reaching a point where the object was no longer in sight. I went inside and told my wife what I saw, and then went back outside to see if I could locate the object a third time – however, the object did not reappear.
