Hi Jean-Paul,

>Hello id for this file wath is it able to do? MAny thanks

>Is it update for a new TSTHOST version N7.xxx, i don't know?

I have send separate info. This is NO update for TSTHOST for DOS but a
update for a FBBS look-a-like FBB-DOS-system which I have uploaded. Update's of
TSTHOST for MSDOS are NOT send by me but by the programmer Mario so you
need TSTD173B.RAR

 ͼ

It is recomended to run TSTDOS only on 80486-DX and UP machines,
this because of the length in time of execution, witch will be
relatively low on slow machines and temporary halts the execution
of TSTHOST. to run TSTDOS, TSTHOST must be executed without the
/NOEMS and /NOXMS parameters. TSTDOS needs at least 4 MB of memory
   for maximum performens

   Installation:

	1. Copy TSTDOS.EXE in the PG-Directory of TSTHOST
		(You can optionaly rename TSTDOS.EXE)
	2. Create a Directory "TSTDOS" in the PG-Directory
	3. Put these files in the PG\TSTDOS directory

			 TSTDOS.HLP
			 CTEXT.DOS
			 ERRORS.DOS
			 UPL_CHK.EXE

	4. Put REALDOS.EXE in TSTHOST directory
	5. Place in TSTHOST.CFG : RUN PG\TSTDOS\UPL_CHK.EXE
	6. Read chapter TST4DOS for creating file labels

 ͻ
                  3. Additional Comments and Problems
 ͼ

			      3.2 START TSTDOS

It is recommended to test TSTDOS before you let any remote user
use TSTDOS. You can do this by connecting yourself in TSTHOST.
if any errors are detected, TSTDOS will prompt them for you. If
an error is detected, TSTDOS tells you in witch file or command
   the error was occured.

			 3.3 TSTDOS CONFIGURATION

TSTDOS gets userdirectory(s) from TSTHOST.CFG (USERDIR param). The
private directory will be loaded from TSTHOST.USR (created by
MAINTUSR.EXE). If no userdirectory is defined TSTDOS won't work.
TSTDOS creates a sub-directory called "TSTDOS" in the PG-dir of
TSTHOST. Never give the "PG\TSTDOS" directory as PRIVATE directory
unless you want the user be SYSOP.
Callsign, Name, user-directory(s), private directory aswel as
other importand data will be stored in a file caled "TSTDOS.DAT"
   located in the PG\TSTDOS-directory.

			     3.4 CTEXT.DOS

Contains the connect text for TSTDOS. You may use additional
commands to display variable text when tstdos is started.
Commands start with a '%' folowed by the command.
   Available commands are :

	%Version                {TSTDOS version         }
	%Call                   {Callsign of TSTDOS user}
	%Name                   {Name of TSTDOS user    }
	%Drives                 {Available drives       }
	%Help                   {Help text              }
	%Author                 {Author of TSTDOS       }

			     3.5 ERRORS.DOS

Contains the Error-Strings for TSTDOS. You may modify or
   translate the Text-Strings.

   WARNING !

DO NOT MODIFY THE NUBERS !!
KEEP AT LEAST ONE SPACE BETWEEN NUMBER AND TEXT-STRING !!

			    3.6 TSTDOS DATAFILE

Callsign, Name, user-directory(s), private directory aswel as
other importand data will be stored in a file caled "TSTDOS.DAT"
located in the PG\TSTDOS-directory. Eatch time a remote user
starts tstdos, TSTDOS referes to this information. When tstdos is
first started, it will create this datafile.

   if There's already a TSTDOS.DAT datafile in the TSTDOS-directory,
and this is not a TSTDOS datafile from Co(c)oon SoftWare Inc.
TSTDOS will prompt for confirmation to overwrite this file. if
you enter 'Y', tstdos will overwrite the datafile and all
contents will be lost. If you enter 'N', tstdos will exit and
return to the TSTHOST-prompt, if you still want to run TSTDOS,
you must remove this file from the PG\TSTDOS-directory

			      3.7 UPLOAD FILE

TstDos creates an upload file called [CALL].UPL whitch is placed
in the PG\TSTDOS directory. CALL indicates the users callsign
without SSID. The UPLOAD-file contains the files uploaded by the
TstDos-User. When a user wants to RENAME, DELETE or MOVE a file,
TstDos referres to this file. When the file is not located in the
upload-file, an error will be returned to the user.
When a directory is created, the directory-path will also be
placed in upload-file. File checking is preformed by UPL_CHK.EXE

The SYSOP may edit this file. Full path and filename are required.

			      3.8 UPL_CHK.EXE

This file checks if all paths and files in ??????.UPL exist and
creates a new ??????.UPL containing only existing files and paths.

   This string :

   - RUN PG\TSTDOS\UPL_CHK.EXE

   must be placed in TSTHOST.CFG

				3.9 TST4DOS

Actualy TSTDOS is derived from 4DOS because of the file
descriptions handling. When the command "LIST" is used, TSTDOS
will refer to the file "DESCRIPT.ION" in the pointed directory
to get the file label. It is recomended to use 4DOS.COM instead
of COMMAND.COM as DOS-SHELL because of the easy dispatch of file-
labels in DOS. You can get 4DOS at allmost any BBS or by mailing
me. If you still don't want to use 4DOS you can create your own
DESCRIPT.ION file. This is what you must do.

   1. - go to the directory where you want to label the files.
   2. - type : " DIR/B > DESCRIPT.ION " at the DOS prompt
   3. - start a file edditor and open the file "DESCRIPT.ION"
   4. - now it is posible to put a file-label seperated by minimal
one space behind every filename. The length of file labels
may not exceed more then 40 characters !

	Example:

		TSTDOS Directory 4 TSTDOS
		TSTDOS.EXE Main Exacutable
		TSTDOS.HLP Help file 4 TSTDOS
		TSTDOSGB.DOC TstDos Documentation file (GB)
		TSTDOSNL.DOC TstDos Documentation file (NL)

   5. - save file and exit the editor
   6. - repeat point 1 to 5 for all user directory's

Make shure that each DESCRIPT.ION file is placed in the directory
were it belongs. It is recomended to make this file hidden. you
can do this by typing "ATTRIB +H DESCRIPT.ION" at the DOS prompt.

when "LIST" is now used. TSTDOS will also put a label behind each
   file.

			      3.10 SYSOP MODE

Sysop Mode in TstDos is equal to the SysOp mode in TstHost.
   Command 'SYS' activates SysOp Mode.

The folowing example shows how to define a sysop level.

   TSTHOST.SYS

	Vlag is Bitfield :

1 User has access on all drives for read. YU only in
		Upload directory.

2 User has access on all drives for read and write.

4 User is allowed to use DOS command. In TstDos user
may delete files of any kind.

	     8. Yapp transfers alowed, even if PYAPP is off

	    16. User has access to all messages in PMS, including
editting of mailheaders (EM, FA, FR commands).

   Example:

CB3EHV has access to read and write on all drives, is not allowed
to erase files and may do YAPP transfers even if PYAPP is off.
   (i.e. flag 2 and 8)

   CB3EHV has Sysop level 10 (flag 2 + flag 8 equals 10).

When a user has access to all flags, it gets level 31
   (1+2+4+8+16 = 31)

			      3.11 REALDOS MODE

When Sysop flag 4 is true, a user is allowed to start a DosShell
and use real dos commands. command 'REALDOS ON' activates this
   mode, 'REALDOS OFF' deactivates it.

   WARNING

When REALDOS mode is activated, all commands will be carried out
in a DosShell. All commands used must me carried out at one time
in DOS. When not, the system will hang !! It is recomended to
use REALDOS only when TstDos becomes short in available commands.
   - Pipelines, short DosPrograms as ARJ and PKZIP, etc.. -
Most errors will not be shown in REALDOS mode (Not yet available)

			      3.12 REALDOS.EXE

REALDOS.EXE (in TSTHOST directory) is a program whitch executes
commands given by user, when REALDOS = ON.
REALDOS can only be used in Sysop mode and when Sysop flag 4 is
   set.

 ͻ
