Hi Stan and sci-fi buffs,

Hmmm, the BBC doing a radio series on the Foundation is news to this Yank
even with close ties to the UK. Wellllll........

You may want to check out their programming archives on line as I'm sure
to do as soon as I get a chance, you may be able to download or listen to
those shows since their archives are the largest in the world and much is
available to the public. BTW, if some are only available as streaming
audio you can always pull a "Sneaky Pete" and make digital recordings if
you know how. It's a bit involved and way off topic so I won't explain
here, just mind the copyrights so you can't distribute recordings for
profit, just keep them for personal use.

"I have NEVER bought a Star Trek or Star Wars book!!"

Why such a horrid disdain of them? I can understand if you don't happen
to like that sort of TV show or movie, but the books fill in lots of
blanks in the series. There's lots of information to be found, background
to things on the screen and "missing episodes" that fill in the timeline
making it complete. For example, how about the prototype Galaxy Class
starship, the NCC-1700 and who piloted it before the ST series began?
Yes, the story began before Episode 1 The Menagerie and even before the
pilot movie rarely seen these days. No, Captain Pike it wasn't, it was
Captain Kirk, but not James Tiberius Kirk either.

"But Looooke (hiss) I'm your faaaaather! (wheeze)" And to think James
Earl Jones now does TV commercials for Verizon, sounding just like Darth
Vader after he got his breathing problem fixed. Hmmmmm, seems to me
there's a fault in the Force or maybe Yoda was the only one who mastered
it. (;->) "Hmmm, fix you up right good you black helmeted old bastard!
Hmmm, giggle, hmmmm OK?"
