Hi Ian and readers,
Yeah, 'twas I who at first got the Asimov and Heinlein characters mixed
up, I don't think R. Daneel Olivaw ever said "blert" or popped in from
another dimension. (;->) Interesting though he managed to live for 30,000
years by replacing bits of himself and turned out to be the one in
control of galactic history all along despite the Foundation.
Aw cummon, it only stands to reason you lived in Manchester England, if
it were New Jersey we would have been neighbors. (;->)
Well well, cleaning out the old bulls tells me you use Winpack or
something like it in "full auto" mode which clutters up the HD with junk.
Now when are you lazy blokes going to learn how to use a BBS properly and
save yourself all that housecleaning? Hmmm, maybe too you'll actually
find things you're looking for and stop whinging "It's not interesting
anymore!" No, not really busting your chops OM, but just stop and think
of how those automation systems and "telnet" in particular have
contributed to the falling away.
On a brighter note, just be thankful that nobody has trashed TREK this
time around and let us discuss sci-fi unmolested. BUAM, I'm holding my
breath and not counting any chickens, just hoping for the best.
Meanwhile, just enjoy one of the best topics on packet and one of my
personal faves.
