My personal view on SF, which I've expressed before is that we never gewt
to see the 'greats'.

Nothing by your favourite writer, Isaac Asimov, Warren. There has only ever
been a film of one Short, robot story, Satisfaction Guaranteed.
Thing what a series Foundation could make!

Yes, I liked B 5% and the spin off. Far more intelligent and reralistic
than Trek ever was. Gary Cole, the sinister sherriff in American Gothic
with
Edward Woodward and the msterious character played by his son, Peter.

The command 'Raise Shields' on B 5 brought about the raising of massive
metal sahields and the guns fired bullets as well as lasers. Not ephemeral
force fields and 'Phasors' whatever they might be.

One film I've never seen. which must be dated by now was Aldous Huxley's
Brave New World. Some of the scenes in the book, which were O.K. in the
1930s, would be banned in the 90s and zeroes. It makes the Title very apt:

Oh what brave new world that hath such people in it! - but they're even
re writing Shakespeare now.

     All the best - Ian, G0TEZ @ GB7YFS.#26.gbr.eu
