I understand what you thought and yes, it does look like that. I used to
think that it looked like the very tip of a "blown" volcano, such as
others spread around the globe, but it was not the entire Gulf itself
Harry. It was merely a very small portion of the bottom right of the "G"
shape, half on the land, half on the water, but only a small fraction of
the entire Gulf itself, NOT the whole enchilada. Regards.
