Hi Dick and astros,

Speaking of Astros, don't get them mixed up with Houston TX, you'll get
lots of flak from American sports fans. (;->) Meanwhile, read my bulletin
entitled PARSEC for a full explanation.

As for AU, there seems to be some confusion here. In terms of astronomy
it's the Astronomical Unit, but it's also the Angstrom Unit, a
measurement of wavelength. In the US it is not written as an A with a
small o over it, rather it's as I have stated since that character is in
(I believe) the Norwegian alphabet and is not scientific notation such as
I have seen. BTW, it's the postal abbreviation for Australia so address
your letters correctly or they may be delivered to somewhere "out there".
