Trying is the first step towards failure. - Homer Simpson.

  Hello All

I was intruiged to see some buls to the thread TREK as I am a Trekkie.
Not really a fanatic but I've always liked anything to do with Science
fiction, a lot of which has become Science fact in my lifetime of 74
  summers.

Having been on packet for many years now, some 20 years or so, I wonder
if any other person than me ever got hold of a copy of Star Trek Packet
program version 3.0 dated May 1995 for DOS?

Mine is a crippled copy in that whilst it works I can't use all its
full facilities as I never managed to get a full copy registered,
despite numerous attempts trying. It does work in XP, after a fashion,
and I often fire it up to see if it still works.

It is called Star Trek Packet systems by someone or three called
  ApolloSoft and the creators are/were? N8WSP, N8RNH and N8ZPV. I tried
for ages to get it to work on my D drive under the radio folder and it
didn't want to know. I gave up until I tried it in its own folder named
StarTrek om my C drive and it has sat there ever since.

That was just in case anyone is/was interested as I still like Winpack
the best with paKet 6.2 coming a close second. I am going up to
Scotland for a few days on the 8th of June and when I get back I could
upload it to the packet network as a zip file and so many parts of 7+,
released at 5 or 6 parts per day so as not to flood the network.
although, Lawd knows! I reckon it wouldn't hurt if I sent 'em all at
once. I will put out an .inf file and how many parts info if anyone is
  interested?

  Regards and....
