In my posting I said :-

That's all it does David; just reads and displays on screen, the
message number, record number, BBS that the tagged messages are to
be downloaded from, and the directory where the new message files
will be put. It also shows which messages have been downloaded.

I originally wrote it to check out what my TPK-LIST programme was
doing as regards updating the RXMSG.TPK file. I've been working on
that programme over the last few months and will put it out on
Packet Radio (not the internet!) sometime soon.

So I thought I would do a bit of an update of READRXM as well.
It's probably not all that useful I suppose, but at least it tells you
if there is a RXMSG.TPK file, annd what's in it).

There is a bug in the TPK with the "cleaning" of the MSG_PRIV.LST file.
TPK counts messages tagged for download as existing messages, and adjusts
the numbers in MSG_PRIV.NUM accordingly. This results in your existing
private mail being overwritten by new private mail if you don't download
all your P mail in the current session of TPK. This bug is in 1.83d, it
may not be in other versions of TPK...not checked.
