Hi. I had a bit of a problem with TPK recently. It got stuck, in that it
would no longer add messages to the BBS list. I did discover that the
message on the BBS immediately following the last one in mine had unusual
characters in the "to" part of the header - perhaps this was the cause. I
tried using MakeList but this didn't seem to want to add them either.
Eventually, I gave up, renaimed the GB7SOU folder and the corresponding
.NUM and .LST files, and started a new list, and then used Makelist again
to put the first batch of messages back in. Not sure why but afterwards
when I looked at the old list, it turned out that it had actually added the
messages but at the *beginning* of the file instead of the end! Perhaps
this has to do with the funny header or perhaps it happens when TPK's
message list gets too big.
I don't need any help to fix the problem as starting a new list seems to
have done that, but I would be interested to know if anyone else has had a
similar thing happen.
