Config.tpk is one that is initialy set up for the access to the BBS. It
also fixes variuos functions, such MSG_PRIV, etc.,(also the comms methoid.
I use INT14 with a baycom modem) and time for the headers etc, before they
are "killed" from the list (culled may be a better term.)
It will likely have a few other settings for 7+ downloads/decoding, etc.
Also for BBS sync of headers.
TPK.CFG also needs to be set up for the various actions of
subdirectories; the instructions for this are detailed in the file when
editing. Heed the instructions! Thlast thing to run is TPK_INST.EXE (it
is convenient to edit these files using XTreeGold. Makes life easy to deal
with in this program. Select the TPK_INST.EXE file using <alt><X> and type
in GB before you press "Enter", for english, unless you are conversant
with French, which I an not!) Just press enter key, umaking the choices
relevant as they appear on the options. then press Y (or O) to finalise
the changes, and then run the program.

There is an optipn listed on the bottom line to Select (sort) bulletimns
bytopic,BBS and sender. If you want "Space, then scroll down to that
option, sconfirm and the list of that topic will appear

There is anothe option and that is displayed on the bottom 2 lines of the
header list page (BBS list) These can be modified to give the headers you
prefer for a 1 button listing. (one-button sort) The file is "ENGLISH.LNG"
Below is a copy of a portion of this file that I have set up for my topic
list speedkeys Print it out so you can follow where it is in the file, as
it is too long to sent complete. aqs well as a lot of it being irrelevant
to what we are doing.

I hope this will help sort out the problems that you maYy have. I haven't
operated TPK for some time (Winpack operator),but If I go back to a DOS
machine, that is the program of choice.
I hope this will help you,
