After reading a bulletin on a new version of Win TNC on the stocks, I
started thinking about older, faster DOD bsed programmes. I have a few on
disk but they don't want to run if you shell out of Windows.

One little programme, Written by G4IDE, comes up with the message.

"You are4 trying to run this under Windows Dos, get a proper DOS and try
again."

TPK will run under Widows DOS but, FBB 7.00... doesen't allow unproto
syncing via digis as older versions did. I have checked back and it was
true.
There is a programme called Makelist, also by G4IDE, who wrote it about
the time he was writing Winpack. It behaves like the column setting in
Winpack but will run with other programmes, especially TPK.

I never did manage to make it run. I just wonderd if anyone ever had. I
may be thick but I managed to master setting the columns in Winpack with
no help, so I'm probably not that thick.

Winpack has it's advantages and some disadvantages. The main advantage is
the sped and shorter connection time. I don't know why this should be.
F1EBN and, probably F6FBB will know but they don't take requests. G4IDE
probably knew as well...

So, again, has anyone ever used makelist with TPK and how did you do it?
I went through all the specimen options and nothing worked.

It would be nice to see it work, any advice welcome.

Thanks in advance.
