ZL4CW/TPK 1.82 Msg #:381 Date:05-03-97 Time:13:28Z

Hi, I'm having a problem fowarding mail from TPK 1.83. The BBS keeps
sending out a FORMAT ERROR on my mail. I notice that now when a new address
is entered, such as ZL4FI@ZL3UR.#86.NZL.OC , the "#" gets removed by TPK
at the top of the message editor screen.

Also the local SYSOP tells me that a "." gets tacked onto the end of the
address as well when it arrives at the BBS. The is no "." in the HROUTE.TPK
file on any of the addresses. Nor does it appear at the top of the message
editor screen.

Needless to say none of the mail I've sent arrived at it's destination.
Re-installing TPK 1.82 cured the problem, the configuration files are still
the same, except they now have 1.82 entered into them.

Has there been any changes to the address format that TPK accepts now? Just
thought that there may be a change, or that part of the address may be now
reduntant.

Many thanks for talking the time to read this message, and hope you may be
able to help.
