tfkiss is a program, which translate hostmode to kissmode.
kissmode is either, standard kiss, smack or rmnc-kiss.
tfkiss was written by mark wahl, dl4ybg, for linux
several years ago. in the meantime some ham's are in
a developing group around tfkiss and tnt.
thanks also to berndt, vk5abn.
tfkiss can be used now on netbsd, most linux derivates
and solaris from sun on sparc and intel platform.
tfkiss allows to use tnt in combination with a kiss-tnc,
or speaking with a rmnc/felxnet node or communication with wampes.
this distribution consists of 7 parts of 7plus files.
each is about 25000 byte.
distribution is done to unix @ eu in packet radio network.
major change is the possibility to switch a tnc with thefirm
from host to kiss mode at startup and switch back at shutdown.
version 1.2.2 seems to run stable.
