WOULD LIKE
TO KNOW WHICH PINS I MUST USE FROM THE TNC AS WELL AS THE
COMPUTER =
9 PIN OF COMPUTER AND THEN THE
25 PIN?????
Use a standard PC to modem cable. Some of the pins not connected
are used differently in the TNC than the modem, but that standard
9 pin to 25 cable doesn't have connections to those extra pins.

You don't need the AUX with RS-232 modem cable.

I SEE THE REAR OF THE TNC HAVE A TERMINAL AS WELL AS A AUX,WHICH 1 MUST I
USE?????

I WOULD LIKE TO USE IT FOR A BBS,AND WILL IT THEN ALSO WORK WITH
WINPACK,
OR MUST 1 CHANGE THE PINS AGAIN???

THEN DO I NEED AN EXTERNAL DRIVER SO THAT THE COMPUTER CAN SEE THE TNC AND
WHERE CAN I FIND IT.{FOR WIN 98} ????

Any serial communications program including hyperterm will talk
to the TNC. Its ORDINARY serial. You set the serial port speed
with the switches or jumpers on the rear. If its old, it may not
run well above 1200 or 2400 baud. Takes an IC change to get it
work reliably at 9600 baud on the computer port.
