Hi Willie. You need an RS232 cable between your TNC and computer. Below
are some diagrams of the connections for various configurations.

  Serial cables:

  DB9F to DB9F DB25F to DB25F
    2 --------------- 3 2 --------------- 3
    3 --------------- 2 3 --------------- 2
    4 --------------- 6 4 --------------- 5
    5 --------------- 5 5 --------------- 4
    6 --------------- 4 6 --------------- 20
    7 --------------- 8 7 --------------- 7
    8 --------------- 7 20 --------------- 6
  DB9F to DB25F

    3 ----------------- 3 3 --- 2 ------------------- 2 --- 3
    4 ----------------- 6 4 ---20 ------------------- 6 --- 6
    5 ----------------- 7 5 --- 7 ------------------- 5 --- 7

This pinout will work on any IBM compatable computer that has a 9 pin
  connector.

>I SEE THE REAR OF THE TNC HAVE A TERMINAL AS WELL AS A AUX,WHICH 1 MUST I

You should use the TERMINAL connection. If you have a manual for the TNC
it should all be explained in there.

>THEN DO I NEED AN EXTERNAL DRIVER SO THAT THE COMPUTER CAN SEE THE TNC AND
>WHERE CAN I FIND IT.{FOR WIN 98} ????

No! Once the TNC and computer are connected by the rs232 (serial) cable
and the correct parameters are set in the terminal program (Winpack?)
and the TNC all should work. Hope this is of some small help?
