Odd... I bought a caravan about 2 - 3 years ago and the made great play on
assuring me the wheel nuts had been correctly torqued up, quite embarassing
really.

Bet you can bend down, grab both feet with your hands and lift yourself up :-)

You could do the stand on it trick with a spider, if you could find some means
to prop (spare jack) the opposite end to the one in use on the nut. When using
them I pull up on one arm, push down on the other and often as not bugger my
back up for the rest of the day.

I hear those 'fit all' sockets are quite good for undoing those - Like socket,
but packed with sprung rods. You push the thing onto a nut and the rods push
out the way make a perfect fit for the nut, with the rods that don't push out
of the way.

Right....

Back to looking for that timer module I put aside somewhere intending to fit
it on the compressors circuit. I keep turning the compressor on to blow tyres
up etc. and forget to turn it back off again when it is finished with. It
usually fires back up at 3 in the morning, once it has leaked a little air. A
1 hour timer and a push button should put an end to it.
