Hi Barry and all,
I've never heard of "cancer clusters" around any transmitting towers so
maybe some "scientist" should conduct a study. (Here's where sarcasm gets
intense.) I'm sure you've heard the phrase "studies have shown"
particularly in advertizing which should immediately raise your
suspicions of how studies are conducted. I've seen some lulus but I won't
bore you with manufactured statistics. A study departs radically from
research in it's very method, like a computer it works on the GIGO
principle, garbage in, garbage out. In other words a study produces
desired results simply by skewing the input, often beyont the limits of
all common sense and reason. And to think that so many are conducted at
or by universities (and they call this higher learning) with government
grants, your tax monies at work. 'Nuff said or should I tell you how
Rutgers University here in NJ "proved" how smoking marajuana causes
cancer? (Those poor monkeys, but at least they died stoned out of their
minds.)
