Hello Pete and John,
your solution is absolutely correct.
R1 in series with a parallel circuit consisting of R2 and R3.
Rtot = 22 Ohm, U = 15.55 V, P = 11 W.
Maybe in a few weeks I can present this problem to my 10. class students.
Last week they learned Ohm's Law, so it will take a while...

By the way ... do you know this very old but somehow rather tricky problem?
