I agree with the above, with all the resistors in series the total power
taken from the supply is 10 Watts.

I have a solution in which the total power taken from the supply 
is 11 Watts.

10 Ohm resistor dissipates 5.0 Watts
20 Ohm resistor dissipates 3.6 Watts
30 Ohm resistor dissipates 2.4 Watts


Am I getting near to the right answer, Helmut ?
