Hi David

The above holds true but not just for packet. How many times do we help
people only to find they do not even have the most basic of good manners
to thank you afterwards.

Then on the internet I can say this. We here in South Africa still do not
have a truly affordable broadband, or even always on, internet. We are
mostly stuck with dial up which at the very best still is as slow as a
frozen snail on sandpaper. This along with Google and Yahoo feeding you
with hundreds of non relevant pages and dead links then it is easy to
understand why we turn to others for help rather than sitting here for
hours spending hard earned cash.

Also,I love packet radio since it gives me the oppertunity to be active on
radio without having to be there to watch it all the time. Packet lets me speak directly to like minded people.

Thanks again to all who responded to my bulletin, it is very much
appreciated
