Hello techies,
FOLD-DP3.EXE is a programme for calculating the feed resistance of a folded
dipole given the spacing and element diameters, or the spacing for a given
feed resistance and element diameters.
The equivalent diameter is also calculated along with the approximate
free space wavelength at a given frequency.
It's a DOS text mode programme which should run OK in any of the windoze OS.
It needs a VGA monitor, DOS 4.0 or later and a PC with a maths co-processor.
Help and information are contained within the programme, so it can't get lost,
and may be accessed at any time with F1.
Use the "Print Screen" key to print out the help pages or to save the design.
"Print Screen" works FB in DOS.
The programme is freeware for Radio Amateurs only.
