After being told that new British gun laws amounted to no guns,no way,
David comes up with the following story.
I spent a lot of years mostly indoors, firing at paper targets on a very
thick backing. On the rare occasions we shot outside, we fired into
'butts'
targets with a thick earth banking.
This is all illegal now. I could get 15 years for owning a gun. I am not
too excited about it. I have fired everything from a .22 to a LMG with a
few ancient guns like the Sharps muzzle loader and the huge .45 used by
the men who won the west - even the peacemaker. I do know of a way to get
practice with a .22 rifle legally via a small loophole in the law but less
said the better.
So, if gun ownership is illegal except for the police and military, waht
is the following about?
