A friend of mine moved into  a retirement flat unit and did  feed sucessfully
the gutter around his block. I think  he just fed it against ground which  he
picked up near a water tap.

I think  you could  try a  delta feed  if you  can get connections far enough
apart. My friend  did try a  dipole in the  ceiling space which I believe was
quite sucessful also.

One I  read about  was a  loop wound  onto a  door. The antenna could be then
rotated for the best signal.
They say where theres a will there is a way.
