Subject: x box problem -help please .
hi all you x box fans , got a small problem with one of my boxes , this
was an " origional " that is now about 3 years old and has seen much
service .
it has developed a fault in so far as it would appear that the dvd disk
player seems to be exhibiting the same symptoms as a "dirty " scanninig
head lens - is it best to just use the commecial lens cleaning disks to
attempt to clean this or is more drastic action required ??
symptoms are : loss of colour which seems to fade in and out on a regular
basis - other than that seems to be working fine - its not the disks as I
have 2 boxes and they all work fine on the newer one .
any coments /help appreciated .
thanks de brett G6URM @ GB7PZT
