In ZL they have got rid of the Morse here but the Hobby is as Technicial
as YOU want to make it. I have allways ran older gear and usally buy it not
going. I run a FT101zd mk3, a FV101dm and a FL2100b on hf. On vhf another
FT101zd MK2 to a FTV250 to an AM17 ( 500w 2m SSB ) and on 6m the zd to a
FTV650b 50w. I have quite a bit more gear the ICOM IC502 6m, IC202s 2m
and a IC402 70cms. I have built 100w amps for these 3 rigs.
I have also made a linear repeater 2m in 10m out 15kc wide 10w
same as a Mode A saterlite.
Getting cold here winter is comming yesterday was only 16c
My next project is a 1w tripler for 1296 FM and a small antenna.
