Likewise. I've done so for a few years now as I've found it increasingly
difficult to find the strength to lean over and remove it without some
possibility of triggering off a back problem.
Although, as I mentioned in a previous bulletin, my solar panel sitting on the
dashboard, plugged into the cigar lighter, has solved the problem of battery
run down during long periods of non use.
As far as disconnecting a battery goes and loss of settings, the biggest
problem is remembering how to put the code back into the radio.
Always provided you can remember the code in the first place. ;-)
