Hi Zdenek and readers,
Thanks for the praise, I can use it once in a while because I'm used to
the opposite. (;->) Uh huh, once in a while, that is sometimes to rarely
I DO know what I'm talking about.
My comments on 7+ come from much frustration over past abuse, thankfully
they now know how to send large files properly and not clog the
forwarding links. The curious part is how Amateur Radio packet lags so
far behind the Internet when it comes to digital techniques, 7+ and other
"new" things are just oldies rediscovered.
Yes, there is more to "preserve the integrity" than meets the eye,
basically it comes down to good operating practice.
Oh, I haven't seen any of John's articles lately, maybe he's taking stock
in a better way to send circuit diagrams? I like reading them even though
familiar with the subjects, they're excellent for elmering new and less
tech minded Hams along, even some of the OTs can learn a thing or two.
Now if he comes up with better schematics it'll put the icing on the cake.
So John, are you reading this topic? Any comments?
