Hello All,
I have just replaced the S meter lamp in my FT7 which is on 24
hours a day. I have tried to replace the lamp which is a long filiament lamp
which looks like a fuse. They are often used in car dome lights.

I tried a couple of the bright white leds that are available. Plenty of
brightness but unfortunatley they just give a couple of spotlights on the S
meter. I tried moving them back further but while it made an improvement I ran
out of distance.

Does anyone know if there are leds that have a widespread diffused beam ?
