   I beg to differ. H2 (the "2" being subscript) is a molecule made from
two Hydrogen atoms. Deuterium consists of Hydrogen atoms in which the
usually solitary proton got the company of a neutron. Tritium has yet
another neutron in its core. I don't remember the notation for Hydrogen
isotopes, but I'm sure it's neither H2 nor H3. Maybe a superscript pre-
ceeding the "H"?
