This guy's the kind of stiff-brained scum that is destroying HAM radio.
He'll have it EXACTLY his way, until he finally loses the last band.
Who is the real parasite here?
"re-read as necessary"

I see that Jim has no arguement against any of the points I have made, but
still he didn't like what he heard so we have this "personality attack"..

"Widdle Jim" does not need to feel superior to the likes of you for his
security. I know all about you. Unlike you, I do not feel I must be a
"PEST" to further HAM radio.
And I suspose you feel personal attacks are ok, unless directed to you?
What might that say about your "security"?

Gentlemen,
This debate is not productive.
This mailing list is intended to support the advancement of amateur
radio networking, with particular emphasis on the TCP/IP protocols, not
for arguments as to whether that's good or not. We think it is. We
believe we're right, and we are encouraged by the number of people who
agree with us.
May I cordially suggest that we radio/computer-weenies would like you
to take the argument elsewhere.
We will bury you.
Thank you.
