Subject: Removal from TAPR lists......

Seems that in addition to NOT being considerate enough to RESPOND to my
email messages, TAPR's 'leadership' were RUDE enough to remove my email
address from all TAPR lists without my knowledge and without informing me
of this.

Aside from being COWARDLY, these actions have taken a BAD situation and
made it FAR worse!

TAPR *used* to be a respected organization, for ALL of packet radio. It
has become a COUNTRY CLUB for a *select* few.

The list of people who responded to my previous email about difficulties
with TAPR reads like the 'Who's who' of Amateur Radio. NO ONE seems to
feel it is viable any longer, and it's no wonder.

I feel FOOLISH for defending TAPRs actions in the past, and the actions
of the 'leadership' make me feel sorry for those paying dues to support
the actions of such individuals.

Well, you know, sometimes you're your own worst enemy. I agree with you about
TAPR. I had a very unfortunate experience with one of their mailing lists,
myself, where I asked a simple question and got a barrage of hate mail both on
and off the list because I wasn't an insider.

But when you're regularly criticizing and even ridiculing people because they
aren't as smart as you are, or aren't the programmer that you are, or haven't
been able to decipher the FAQ or the documentation, or don't pay you the
obeisance you believe you're due for writing and supporting a very fine piece
of software that I like, support, have registered, and wouldn't want to do
without, well, it does tend to make some folks feel less than kindly toward
you, too.

So scream about TAPR. You'll be right. Just be aware that some folks will be
thinking, "Gee, that's kind of the pot calling the kettle black ..."
