No, we are not using a C language on a SUN, we are using LabVIEW on a MAC
platform. I do not think this applies to us in any way. If if can be used I
would need to understand it better. SInce our software runs on MAC, and we do
not have SUN accounts, I do not see how we can use RCS?

If they are using the SUN network, there are 2 similar version control
tools currently available: SCCS and RCS. SCCS is VERY old and somewhat
hard to use, while RCS is much better and easier to use/understand.

Subject: Keep up the GREAT Work

As most of you have heard, A three judge panel in Philadelphia ruled that
the Communications Decency Act (CDA) is unconstitutional, paving the way
for the Supreme Court to overturn the law. The case to challenge the (CDA)
was brought by the Citizens Internet Empowerment Coalition, and the American
Civil Liberties Union.

This case shows that PEOPLE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. On May 29, 1996, the ARRL
asked all Amateur Radio Operators to Write, Fax, Call, and send E-mail to
the FCC and members of the WRC-97 Committee. This educational campaign will
educate the committee on our use of the 144 and 440 MHz Amateur Bands in
hopes of turning around the consideration to use these bands for space
communications.

After you do your part by sending a message to the WRC-97 IWG-2a, you can
follow the progress and keep up to date by pointing your browser to:

http://www.futureone.com/~tim/wrc/

You can also help by placing the small logo on your web site and pointing it
to the WRC-97 information page URL http://www.futureone.com/~tim/wrc/

Your messages have helped so far. Keep up the Good Work.

Tim

Subject: Radiomodems

Hello All

I have followed problem:

I have three radiomodems (transceiver+modem) half duplex. They work on
special frequency and I need to connect them. I had an idea to do it the same
way as Packet radio with connect to Linux. The radiomodems have only
9 pins COM port (serial interface) and for "turning on" of "carry" is
used signal RTS. I don't know how to do it or I would like to know if there
is not something similar already done.

I have compiled Linux kernel for AX.25 protocol and I got some program where
is ax25attach..... Parhaps there is something more appropriate.
Thanks for advice.
I saw (in Linux kernel sources) that I will need (parhaps) to "remove"
this part of program that insures RTS = log. 1 (that is no problem).
But I don't know where I would to add out(x,x) for "turning on" for RTS signal
and how it works. I am a bit confused about it.
Thanks for advices and examples, pointer to information :-))
