Is anyone from GA, NC or SC driving to DCC?

Has anyone here successfully built and deployed a uWeather board? I've got
mine assembled, but the documentation is somewhat lacking. The download
package has nine separate 1 or 2 page PDF files that show the schematic,
board layout, and parts list, plus a couple of random notes, but there's
nothing resembling a manual. The 'headers' file identifies P1 as the power
input, for example, but I had to consult the schematic to get the polarity.
Pin 1 isn't indicated on the LCD header. P4 is listed as the configuration
mode jumper, and the anemometer setup instructions mention a configuration
menu, but there's no mention of what comm settings to use to get it, what
the menu options might be, and whether the serial port is wired as DTE or
DCE. The functions of the trimmer pots aren't described at all.

The board is good quality, and the list of Digikey part numbers was very
helpful - the kit seems to be on a par with the TinyTrak for overall
quality, but the TT3 has a 16 page manual. Is there some sort of user's
manual I'm missing? I really couldn't recommend this kit to anyone without
good schematic reading skills.

For the record, so far I've figured out that it's 2400-N-8-1, no flow
control, DCE for the serial port. R7 is the LCD contrast adjust (had to be
tweaked before my display worked at all), R13 seems to be TX level, and it
looks like R14 is RX sensitivity.

The way I read the schematic, the 1-wire weather station should have the
RJ11 power jumper removed, and be connected with a 4-conductor cable. My V3
station still isn't detected properly and I can't calibrate it in the config
menu.

I figured out why my LCD display's garbled, at least - turns out the display
I dug out of the parts bin is a 16x4, not a 20x4. Oops.
