Brent - and other APRS+SA users.. just got the 2.24 installed on
everything.. so far so good.
I like the feature (which was absent from a very early release I had been
running) of hovering the pointer over the callsign. The bearing, distance,
age of packet, gridsquare is nice, and all in one place.
Two questions: Is there a way to config how long this info stays on screen?
Also, it works in all tabs but the History tab.
OK, a 3rd question: Is there a way to save and recall different lists of
stations in the history tab?

In a recent awards ceremony, volunteers were recognized for their
outstanding achievements in volunteer service.
Seven volunteers in the APRS FireNet Amateur Radio System, one of the first
Amateur Radio Organizations to become involved with the Freedom Corps
received Certificates of Excellence for their contributions to public
service through FireNet. Fire Chief, Charles Philpot, Buckskin Fire
Department in Arizona, awarded the following FireNet members their
certificates and presented them to
Jim Wooddell, WA6OFT, Firenet Coordinator;
Bill Diaz, KC9XG
Dale Huguley, KG5QD
Lee Inman, K0QED
Curt Mills, WE7U
Charles Smith, KC2BHX
Randy Whitney, KK6RW
James Wiles, KK5WM
Chief Philpot said, "I've seen FireNet grow from a simple idea at the
beginning of the Rodeo\Chediski Fire, which was declared a National
Disaster by President Bush, by one individual to what it is today and all I
can say is that it is truly remarkable what can be accomplished through
team work and dedicated volunteers."
So, congrads to the seven above! I have your certificates in my hand and
Wendy, KA6HMG, made me put them all in nice little frames! Now....you
have to get me to mail them to you!!!! ahahahahaha.
Jim, WA6OFT

Eric,
Visit you local Best Buy or Circuit City. You may find an older compaq that
had bluetooth and 802.11 built in at a clearence price. Most are around
$500. You can also find good used ones on ebay.

I want to thank both John and Bob for helping me to "QUIT" the program
correctly. With bob changing the "QUIT" function he corrected an old
problem of loosing the POSITION data base upon exiting, thanks Bob.
